Darn Clocks and Kathy Gets Sick.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

After getting up so early yesterday Kathy barely made it to bed before she fell asleep. Being used to surviving on less sleep I managed to finish the Blog before joining her. We would both sleep soundly through but would both wake with a start after looking at the Clock this morning.

I mentioned before that we have Two Digital Clocks that were made before Daylight Savings Time was extended by a Month. Back in March when DST took place I had to manually set the Clocks ahead. Now since the Clocks believe DST only took place last night then changed on their own. I had to turn them back.

When I saw the time on the Clock it was easy to dismiss since there is another Digital Alarm on my night stand so I got up when it was time according to my body. I was getting things ready for breakfast when Kathy came racing out of the Bedroom thinking she had overslept. The fact that it still appeared dark outside due to the Cloud cover added to her confusion. Kathy also mentioned that her stomach seemed upset but just sloughed it off as being hungry. After putting our Coffee/Tea near our Computers I reset both the Clocks to the appropriate time.

There were no new Job Ads to consider today. If our family members were not all in the immediate area there would be plenty of jobs to consider across Canada. We both enjoyed soaking our feet in the warm Epson Salts Foot Bath. It never fails to make us feel better.

Still feeling like her stomach was upset Kathy chose to have lunch early at 11:30. We had a Greek Pasta Salad that we have enjoyed many times in the past along with a slice of White Cake for dessert.

Wanting to look for a Bin that would better organize our Fridge we headed off to Canadian Tire. With measurements in hand we finally found one the perfect size. I also purchased some Metal Cutting Discs that were “On Sale” for things that I work on for myself or friends. Kathy said she would meet me at the Car because she was again feeling sick to her stomach.

When we reached Princess Auto Kathy decided to stay in the Car while I went looking for the things marked on my List. I had just found one item when my Cell Phone started ringing. It was Kathy telling me she had just gotten sick in the Car.

2:00 in the afternoon.

Shopping cut short were soon heading back to the Apartment. After Kathy had washed up we tried figuring out why she got sick while I did not. We ate the same things yesterday and today. The Dentist insists that Kathy takes a certain Antibiotic Two Hours before her appointments because of her Diabetes. Checking On-Line every possible Side-Effect that pill could cause Kathy had. It also said if you are taking some of the medication that Kathy takes you should not take that Antibiotic. They also stated that people that did not take the Antibiotic before Dental Procedures had never gotten any Infections after. Thinking back to past procedures like that the only thing different was she didn’t get sick.

We shared a Store Bought Medium Thin Crust Bacon Pizza for supper. Kathy’s feeling fine and her stomach is not bothering her. Guess what she’ll not be taking the next time she sees the Dentist.

The 6 o’clock Local News reported Active Coronavirus Cases for the Province but not the Windsor/Essex Region. They also reported on the War Crimes being committed by the Russian Army in Ukraine.

The Weather Network showed we reached a high of 45 F (7 C) but now we can expect more Rain this week. Sounds like Spring to me.

  1. Glad Kathy is feeling better and it was short lived. Just never know the side effects with these meds.
