After having a relaxing day that we used to go visit I was surprised that I was awake most of the night. Luckily I had set the Alarm to make certain I’d wake on time. The time I am referring to was 6:00 so that I could go to the Gym. I last looked at the Clock at 5:00 before hearing the Alarm going off. It did not mater I got dressed and was out the door in less then Fifteen Minutes.

By 6:35 I was already starting my Cardio Exercise at Planet Fitness. There were only about Fifteen People working out at that time but as I got into my Free Weight Exercises more continued to come in. I managed to add a few more exercises as well as increasing the number of Sets on the ones that I have been doing since the first day I returned. It was just past 8:30 when I was headed for the Car and there had to be at least Fifty People exercising. It will be interesting to see how many people will be exercising after all the Coronavirus Restrictions will be lifted as of tomorrow.

When I walked in the Apartment Kathy had already finished her morning chores and was about to have Cereal for breakfast. Since I hadn’t eaten yet it was nice to sit down and join her. It was also a chance to rebuild my fluids for later in the day.

There were no new Job Ads to apply for today so it gave me a chance to get caught up on my Blog reading.

Again when it came time for lunch we shared a Toasted Tomato and Cheese Sandwich along with Chicken Noodle Soup. We then had Clementine Orange Slices as well as Yogurt Cups for dessert and a V-8 Juice for a refreshment. Even though I kept hydrated during my workout because of my plans for later in the day I was continuing to do more.

Due to the Computer Systems for the Canadian Blood Services crashing and not allowing anyone to donate Eighteen Days ago 5:30 this afternoon was the earliest I could reschedule my appointment for donating Blood. We left the Apartment over an Hour earlier and went to the Harvey’s Drive-Thru where we used a Coupon to purchase our supper. We ordered meals but substituted Onion Rings rather then Fries reducing the Carbs while the Hamburgers and Soft Drinks helped strengthen my Blood count.

We arrived at the Canadian Blood Services before 5:00 but I didn’t hesitate to go in early while Kathy immersed herself in her book. Inside it didn’t take long to be processed but I was reminded that if someone with an earlier appointment arrived they would be taken first. I made my 133rd Blood Donation and was getting in the Car before 5:30.

We checked the new location that our Hairstylists have moved to but unfortunately the set up is not finished and we are both badly in need of Haircuts.

The 6 o’clock Local News was half over when we walked in the Apartment as they continued to talk about the invasion of Ukraine and all the countries that are sending Aid or imposing sanctions against Russia.

The Weather Network showed we had a high temperature of 32 F (0 C).

We’ll see what we can do to shake things up tomorrow. I’m going to bed early.

Informative Visit.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

After getting up early yesterday so that I could go to the Gym I had no problems getting a solid night’s sleep. I did sleep a little later this morning but did not feel guilty about doing so and it felt good.

Looking outside as the Sun was just starting to show itself you could see the Frost on the windows of the cars in the parking lot. I barely got started getting things ready for a lite breakfast when Kathy joined me.

I actually found a Job Ad that I was able to apply for this morning. Reading some of the Blogs we follow still makes me jealous that we are not in the Southwest at this time.

For lunch we kept it lite again by simply having Split Pea with Ham Soup along with Cheese on Crackers then Clementine Orange Slices and a Yogurt Cup for dessert.

We headed out the door by 1:00 taking the Truck. It hasn’t been used much lately which I learned last year was not good for the Batteries at this time of year. Since we were headed out to the town of Essex I figured that it would have the chance to clean the Diesel Particulate Filter without looking like it was on fire.

Seven Month Old Tucker.

We arrived with only minutes to our scheduled time visiting with our daughter-in-law Jen as well as our grandsons Connor and Haigan. We had lots of catching up to do. Connor is trying to expand his musical abilities after becoming quite good at the Guitar he is now trying to learn to play the Saxophone. Haigan is now learning Karate and has earned his Yellow Belt. Jen has gotten a new job locally and recently found out that her Seven Month Old puppy Tucker is Deaf. She is actually training him using Sign Language. The time just seemed to fly by and we were too soon saying our good byes.

It was 5:00 by the time we reached Taco Bell where we used a Coupon to order Beef Burritos for supper. Since I plan to donate Blood I have to boost my Iron and by eating Beef is one way of doing so.

The 6 o’clock Local News reported on the Russian Invasion of Ukraine and the global reaction. There are Demonstrations around the world condemning Russia for such a thing.

The Weather Network showed we had a high temperature of 41 F (5 C) helping to melt most of the freshly fallen Snow.

We’ll see what happens tomorrow.

Icy Windows, Workout and Talking To Ivan.

Not wanting to miss out on going to the Gym for another day before I went to bed last night I set the Alarm. I took an Extra Strength Tylenol to calm the headache that I had gotten from not sleeping on Thursday night. By 12:30 I was starting to toss around but managed to fall back asleep. At 5:00 I again turned over wanting for any extra minutes sleep I could get. Then I looked at the Clock to see 5:55 and knew it was time to get moving.

Shutting off the Alarm so as to not wake Kathy I grabbed a quick snack before dressing where I did when going to work. At the Car I had to scrape Ice off the Windshield that had been hidden under the powdery Snow.

By 6:45 I was already working out on the Cardio Machines. This is something that I missed. Even though I lost over Sixty Pounds while working, lots of that was mass in other words Muscle. Slowly each time I go back to Planet Fitness I am slowly recovering some of the Muscle Tone. I know it will increase my weight slightly but it will also get rid of the remaining Covid Weight (Fat) that I had gained. After working with the Free Weights and again increasing an extra Set I was feeling much better.

I walked into the Apartment minutes after 9:00 to find Kathy already on her Computer. After setting my clothes to dry I had another snack before joining her. There were no new Job Ads to apply for but there was a single page advertising Three Different Positions at my former employers.

We finished the remaining Italian Pasta Salad for lunch and had another bowl of Fresh Cut Pineapple for dessert.

I went back to doing more Data Entries and Research but after Two Hours the On-Line Pages would no longer open up.

It was after the 6 o’clock Local News before we had our supper. I made a Ham and Cheese Omelette that we shared and Kathy split the last of the Fresh Cut Pineapple for our dessert while having a glass of Root Beer for a drink.

The Weather Network showed we had a high temperature of 28F (-2 C) this afternoon but the forecast is showing a warming trend heading our way.

I spoke with Ivan this evening and learned more about how Paul has managed to stay in business so long. More people have quit and he keeps hiring more people for the Line. Carriers are breaking and they are just being put aside because they haven’t found a Welder to fix them. The Delivery Van that I had mostly disassembled is still sitting where I left it. The Pumps on the Washer that I said needed servicing are starting to make strange noises and the Loading Dock has jammed a number of times in the last Two Weeks. Like a follower commented “Paul made his bed now he can sleep in it”.

We again watched the different News Medias to see what is happening in Ukraine. It is not good and we can only hope it all ends soon.
