Broken Sleep, Chores and Debate Analysists.

Kathy managed to get to bed before me last night but also needed something to help her relax. I had no problem falling off to sleep but had trouble staying that way because my New CPAP Machine shut down on me Three Times last night. I mentioned it the other day but then the Machine worked great for a couple of days I continued using it. With busy days I didn’t take the time to bring it in. The last time I woke gasping for Air I sat on the edge of the bed and disconnected the hose before the Machine fired back up. That was enough to have me just get up to start my day.

It took Kathy Five Minutes to realize I was no longer beside her before she joined me. I was still getting things ready for breakfast. After we had eaten we ended up at the Computers. While my second cup of Coffee was cooling a bit I stripped the bed and put fresh sheets on. It has been over Two Weeks so it was time for the Laundry again. I had everything sorted when it was time to make lunch.

With it Raining outside and knowing I could be gone for some time we had Split Pea with Ham Soup and Kathy added Cookies, an Orange along with a Chocolate Pudding Cup to for dessert.

Wearing my Mask according to the Local Health Unit Bylaw guidelines it was just after 1:00 when I arrived at the Second Floor Laundry Room. I was only able to get Two Washers started as the others were busy. Remember how I mentioned it’s been over Two Weeks. Not wanting to wait I checked out the First Floor Laundry Room only find it empty. I ended up with Three more Washers going there. It was amazing that none of those machines are set to the same amount of time so as the Washers stopped I was able to get them transferred to the Dryers without causing any delays for anyone else.

That gave me a few minutes to go back to the Apartment to use the washroom. Even though the Dryers on the Second Floor were started first they ended up being the last to dry. I managed to bring over half the Folded Laundry back to the Apartment before the Second Floor Dryers finished their job. It was nearly 5:00 by the time I got back for the day.

Kathy had been Dusting, Sweeping and Vacuuming while I was gone.

When I got back Kathy immediately started cooking up supper or I should say a feast. We haven’t eaten that much in ages. She cooked up Spare Ribs, Brussels Sprouts, Baked Potatoes and Biscuits. There was no room for dessert.

We watched the 6 o’clock Local News where we again had a few more Coronavirus Cases. There is more Rain heading our way and the possibility of a night time low near the Freezing Mark on the weekend.

Also surfed ABC, NBC and CNN they were still analyzing last night’s Debate. Two of them had Outside Political Experts saying that if the President does not win re-election he has set it up where Militias could help him stay in power ending the Democracy of the US. In essence it would be like a Dictatorship.

I personally hope that never happens. With of our US Relatives and Friends they would be trapped. No telling what would happen to the International Border if that happened.

Sleeping Episodes, Picking Up Our Trailer and Watching The Debate.

Our Location today is at Windsor, Ontario.

We seem to be riding a wave almost nightly whether or not we will sleep soundly or have a restless night. Kathy had a hard time falling asleep last night while I woke after a brief nap only to toss and turn most of the night. Kathy got about Six Hours Sleep while I got Three. We better take something tonight or we’ll just switch out our sleep patterns.

What I won’t do is after a night like this is to stay in bed longer in the morning to make up for that lost sleep. That is my body trying to change my sleep pattern. After looking at the Clock I dragged myself out of bed by 8:30 because there are things to do during the day that can only be done then.

The sky is not Clear.

It was after 9:00 when Kathy joined me for breakfast but we both felt weighed down. Even drinking Decaffeinated Coffee it felt like a pick-me-up. I had hoped to do something this morning but just lacked the energy. We accomplished some reading this morning.

After doing our morning chores I made Grilled Cheese Sandwiches garnished with Olives while Kathy made the dessert plate with Cookies, Grapes and Chocolate Pudding Cups.

It was past 1:00 before we left the Apartment. With the cooler North Wind we even brought sweaters to wear. Driving down Riverside Drive the changing Fall Colours were only just starting to show. It felt good driving the Truck even though the route was only Half on the Expressway.

It was nearly 2:00 when we drove into Leisure Trailer Sales looking to find where our Trailer was parked. We spotted it blocked behind a personal street-rod. We spoke with Stephanie for a short moment and she agreed that the new Customer Representatives at Jayco have not been too prompt at communicating with the Dealers or Customers. Even without our saying anything our Trailer was brought forward for us to inspect. It’s bad when the Employees know which is your Trailer just by them seeing your Truck.

Setting up for Towing.

The first thing we did was to inspect the inside of the Trailer checking for things we had been told had been done. We found they had removed the Skylight Cover that I made so the Early Morning Sun was not waking us as well as keeping the heat out in the Summer and cold out in the Winter. Then I was on the roof to check it out. We had been told our Skylight had been replaced. It had additional Sealer but was the same one I had installed. It was nice looking at a Sidewall that was not Cracked and was painted the proper colour. Hopefully this repair will last longer then the Two Previous Repairs.

No more Crack.

Once the Propane Tanks and License Plate were installed it didn’t take long to say good-bye and hit the road. Even with Rush Hour Traffic we were exiting the Expressway Fifteen Minutes later.

Five Minutes later we were driving towards our Storage Unit at Guardian Storage. When we pulled the Trailer out back on August 10th we returned to collect the Boards it was parked on and put them inside. After they were loaded it was time to park on our spot. We found another Trailer was now parked next to where we had been. It was another Ten Minutes before the Trailer was sitting on the Boards it will spend the Winter on.

Covering the AC.

Before we finished we had the X-Wheel Chock-Locks installed along with the Tire and Air Conditioner Covers on. Since we’ll be bringing things back inside soon we want to keep our Batteries Charged and with less then Twelve Hours of Sunlight there was only one thing to do. I took the time to raise our Solar Panels just like last Winter so the Charge Controller can maintain the Batteries.

Wheels Locked, Chocked and Covered
On the Boards.

As we were leaving we collected our Mail before going to Wendy’s Drive-Thru for supper. Even though their Summer Special is over it still an inexpensive place to eat. Of course we ate in the Truck watching traffic drive by because their dining rooms are still closed.

Tilting the Solar Panels.

We watched the 6 o’clock Local News where we are still having new Coronavirus Cases but are lower then other parts of the Province.

Before 5:00.

Later we watched the Debate between President Trump and Joe Biden. Kathy could not believe what was happening when the President was arguing with the Moderator. Afterwards the Fact Checkers said Biden was off on a couple of numbers but the President was off on all his facts. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.

Words of Inspiration

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our Light, not our Darkness, that most frightens us.

Early Call, One-Note, 125th, Rainy Day.

Our Location today is at Windsor, Ontario.

We both managed to have a decent night’s sleep with no huge gusts of wind blowing in nor any problems with our CPAPs. When it was time to start the day I did it strictly by looking at the Clock not by the amount of daylight that was absent.

Yesterday's Clouds.

With the makings of breakfast ready I’d barely sat down at my Computer ready to send an E-mail to Jayco when the Phone started ringing. It was just past 8:30 so this was not something I was expecting. On the other end of the line was a voice that I hadn’t heard in a couple of years it was Stephanie from Leisure Trailer Sales the dealership we bought our Trailer through. When she arrived this morning a vehicle from Indiana Transport was there to make a delivery. She personally made certain there were no signs of damage and there was no crack in the Sidewall near the slide. Just like when the Transporter was sent to pick our Trailer up there was no message as to when it would be returned to us. Unfortunately with a day of Rain in the forecast and an afternoon appointment we’ll pick it up tomorrow. After Forty-Nine Days at the factory it’s about time we got it back.

Even when Kathy joined me she asked where the Sun was hiding. There was a solid Cloud Cover leaving behind a constant drizzle which added to the dreariness.

Today's Clouds

After filling out my On-line Questionnaire I tried to print out my Q-pass that would save me time later today. I’ve mentioned before that when Microsoft does their Automatic Updates they keep installing the One-Note program that stops us from using our printer. This time they changed it so that if I delete it I will also be deleting all my files. Looks like I’ll have to contact Microsoft about the issue.

We had Italian Wedding Soup for lunch along with a shared Apple, Cookies and Yogurt Cup for dessert. We needed to keep the light on so we weren’t eating in the dark.

Wet drive.

Wearing Raincoats we headed out shortly before 3:00. We had barely left the parking lot when the Rain started coming down in earnest and continued until we arrived at the Canadian Blood Services Building. Strange the way it just stopped when I shut the Car. Kathy had come along for the ride just to get out of the Apartment but since she couldn’t come in due to Coronavirus Restrictions had brought a book to read.

Inside the lobby had once again been rearranged to allow for better Covid-19 Screening. With that over I then had to fill in the Questionnaire that I could not print this morning. After the final check point I was finally able to make my 125th Blood Donation. Kathy was surprised when I showed up at the Car with my Juice and Snack in hand. There are no longer any tables for you to sit making it so everyone has to do the same.

For something different we went to Arby’s Drive-Thru where we used a Coupon to save money on our supper. Just like my snack we ate our meal in the Car watching Rush Hour Traffic driving by.

The Rain had picked up by the time we got back to the Building so I dropped Kathy at the Front Door before parking the Car. Imagine my surprise when She was still in the Lobby when I got there. Kathy always seems to have a problem with that Front Door Lock so she had to walk around to the Back Door to get in.

Other then a Motorcycle Fatality in Windsor the rest of the 6 o’clock Local News was nearly the same. Lower Temperatures and the lowest Virus Cases in the Province.

Tomorrow will be an interesting day. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.

Getting Things Done, Changing Weather, “Good Trouble” Another Milestone Coming.

Our Location today is at Windsor, Ontario.

Last night we simply took a Regular Strength Tylenol before going to bed. I had both the Old and New CPAP Machines set up and ready on my nightstand. We both slept like rocks and the New CPAP worked flawlessly. We also had the Balcony Door and Bedroom Window wide open throughout the night so we had plenty of Fresh Air.

First thing I did this morning was to get things ready for breakfast before settling in on my Computer. After being there an Hour I opened the Bedroom Blind. A Half Hour later I had to pull out all the stops and Kiss Kathy to show it was time to start her day. Before we even finished our breakfast I had finished over half of my morning reading.

What we had most of the day.

With the Wind Gusts forecasted to be around Twenty-Five MPH but the Humidex forecasted to be above 90 F (32 C) we again put off going for our bicycle ride.

Wanting something different for lunch we sliced a couple of Brats length-wise and fried them in the pan. We had Hamburger Buns so with them being sliced like that they were the perfect fit. Kathy also made up a dessert plate with Cookies, Grapes and Chocolate Pudding Cups.

After finishing our Tea together Kathy wanted to rearrange things in the Storage Room in our Apartment. Many times I have offered to help but she always refuses. While she started her task I cleaned the Kitchen and Dishes making certain everything was put away.

I had Planned to exercise yesterday but we all know what happens with Plans. My lunch had settled by the time I finished in the kitchen so I took my time working out. Taking time to breathe, hydrate and towel down. By the time Kathy finished for the day I had done Two Sets of Double Repetitions and One Set of Single Repetitions. We were both in need of showers.

One thing a lot of people don’t realize that when you exercise your Metabolism continues to race for a while afterwards. Without waiting I started cooking a Medium Sized Store Bought Thin Crust Pizza for our supper and topped it off by having Carbonated Juice (Fake Wine) for our beverage. With Bacon, Ham, Mushroom and Pepperoni for toppings we were well satisfied.

On the 6 o’clock Local News we learned of more Coronavirus Cases throughout the Province of Ontario and again our Area was the lowest of all. Our weather will bring Rain tomorrow with Fall like temperatures starting on Tuesday. We won’t see warm temperatures like today until late Spring next year. There was also mention of a report about how little the Federal Taxes that President Trump has paid over the last Fifteen Years.

We turned to ABC to hear that in 2016 and 2017 he only paid $750.00 each year but none for Fifteen Years before that. The president said it was Fake News. Before I retired I was paying that much a week.

We later watched a special called “John Lewis Good Trouble”. Even though I am a Canadian I remember many of those Protests and fights for equality. The sad part is that all the gains made over the last Sixty Years not only for Race are being dismantled by the present administration. SHAME!

Tomorrow I will reach another Milestone. Tell you about it then. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
