Having taken Tylenol Night-Time Tablets to help us sleep on Thursday we were certain we wouldn’t need them last night. Kathy managed to be asleep within Fifteen Minutes of going to bed. I later realized that I should have indulged myself because it wasn’t until I lay down that I found some Aches that I had forgotten about.
It
was close to 2:00 in the morning when I woke with a Gasp
followed by a blast
of Air
from my CPAP
Machine. My
first thought was that I’d
had a major Apnea
but as I lay wide awake staring at the Ceiling
it happened again. I now
know that it was the Machine
and not Me.
This was the
Brand New Machine
that I unwrapped in the morning. Before I could fall back to sleep it
happened Twice
More.
I ended up sleeping
the rest of the night without the Machine.
Kathy needed extra sleep so I had things ready for breakfast as well as some Computer reading done before she got up.
While getting back to the Computers the Wind started to really blow gusting to nearly 30 MPH and after a while it was practically a constant. We had Planned on going cycling but the Wind changed Kathy’s mind.
I called both VitalAire and The Windsor Sleep Disorder Clinic in an attempt to get information of what was happening. All I managed to do was to leave Voice Mails since this was Saturday.
We had Chicken with Rice Soup for lunch along with Oranges, Pecan Tarts and Yogurt Cups for dessert.
Back at the Computers Kathy busied herself doing research while I worked at Data Entrees and rearranging Files that will someday make their way to our Blog.
After watching the 6 o’clock Local News we felt relieved at the Virus Numbers. Our area was the last in the Province to move to Stage 3 Recovery but we are now holding the lowest number of losses with minimal cases.
We worked together to make Grilled Cheese Sandwiches with Dill Pickle Garnishes for supper.
With the Winds continuing to blow we decided to watch a couple of Hallmark Movies tonight.
I’ll be giving the New CPAP Machine another try tonight but I also have the Old Machine ready as a Backup. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!
It’s about time.

I am sorry to hear that both you and Kathy have been having so many sleeping issues this past week.
ReplyDeleteIt is a shame that your brand new CPAP machine is giving you so many problems while your old one has not missed a beat.
Sounds like those CPAP machines are so much trouble. Hopefully it's an easy fix and done right.
