Rubbing Off, Construction, Another Appointment and Frost Advisory.

We were both really tired as we headed off to bed last night so we figured we’d sleep like a couple of rocks. We both kept waking on and off throughout the night making it difficult to feel rested this morning. Since the overnight temperature was supposed to drop to 41 F (5 C) I had closed the Balcony Door in the living room and only left the Bedroom Window open a few inches.

Normally Kathy is hot when she sleeps with a single sheet but last night she was freezing and had all the covers pulled to her neck. I am always cold but last night was sweating. I started by fully opening the Bedroom Window on my side of the bed wide, then going to partially opening the Balcony Door before reactivating the Vertical Fan and sleeping on top of all the covers. What the heck was happening with us? We’re rubbing off on one another.

We finally woke later than we had hoped for but that was fine. While I took a shower to freshen up Kathy had the chance to get some On-Line Reading done. While she was getting ready I double checked The Weather Network to see there’s a chance of Frost in the forecast for us tonight and a cool high for today.

With a lite breakfast it was not hard to have an early lunch. While I warmed up Split Pea with Ham Soup Kathy split the last of the Black Forest Cake for our dessert. Timing was everything while Kathy finished her Tea I was in the bathroom brushing my teeth. While Kathy was brushing her teeth I started washing the Dishes. We finally walked out the door before 12:00.

With the Windsor/Essex Region being in the Construction Season it did not matter which route we chose there were slowdowns everywhere. Thinking that since there was Construction on the Expressway we tried Walker Road. It had Three separate Construction Zones that the Car basically crawled through.

It was 1:00 when we arrived at Pharma Choice in Amherstburg to pick up our prescriptions but there was an extra one today. There was an Antibiotic that Kathy needed to take ASAP. Due to her Diabetes any time she sees the Dentist she has to take this to avoid any infections in the event she were to suffer a scratch during her appointment.

With that taken care of we still had time to use up so wearing our Masks we walked around the local Dollarama. There were things there we surprisingly don’t have in Windsor. One actually came home with us.

We walked into Rivertown Dental wearing our Masks with minutes to spare. Surprisingly Frank our former Dentist was there having just gotten a Cracked Tooth repaired. He sold the business to Sean when he retired. We just had enough time for a quick catch-up before being called in.

This was a day for Cleaning and Checkups. It looks like Kathy will have to get more work done at a later date. When she went to stand up she was off balanced and she said the room was spinning a bit. Considering how little we had eaten all day I figured her sugar was dropping.

We headed to the local Wendy’s where we each had a Chicken Wrap, Small Chocolate Frosty and a Seniors Soft Drinks. By the time she finished eating her Wrap Kathy was starting to feel much better.

With Kevin and Melissa going camping this weekend we just headed for Windsor. Some of the Construction Zones had all been cleared excepted the posted Speed Limit and a Police Car using Radar. Other Construction Zones had been expanded like the one on the Expressway that went half way across town.

We stopped at Guardian Storage to find our Mailbox empty. As we passed the Pioneer gas station we were surprised to see the prices had again gone down.

Back at the Apartment we manage to get more reading time at the Computers before the 6 o’clock Local News came on. A lot more Coronavirus Cases in Ontario today but only Two in our region.

Today's High

With nothing planned for tomorrow and the Windows will be closed tonight we’ll see how things turn out. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.

Be Safe and Enjoy!
