I kept waking every hour last night but was up minutes after 8:00 this morning feeling rested. After Kathy joined me for breakfast she said she just didn’t feel rested.
The temperature had risen by the time this was taken.
Both the Day and Night temperatures have really come down since last weekend. Over the last few years our area temperatures haven’t been dropping until after our Canadian Thanksgiving. We started the morning with a light Cloud covering but by noon the sky was filled with Dark Clouds. Looking at the Radar the only Clouds it tends to show are the Moisture Laden Clouds and the only ones visible in North America were a line of Storm Clouds from Florida to Newfoundland. The rest of the Map was totally clear.
When it came time for lunch I modified a Garden Salad by adding Chopped Celery, Onions and Peppers before mixing it with Raspberry Vinaigrette then topping it with Shredded Mozzarella Cheese. Kathy was busy pealing Oranges, mixing the last of the Blueberries in Yogurt then adding a Cherry filled French Pastry to the plate.

We again spent most of the afternoon working at the Computers before watching Law & Order on Television at 3:00.
For supper Kathy cooked Spaghettini to put the last of the Pepper Steak on. That made us Four Meals each from that one preparation. The only thing we had to add were the Egg Noodles, today’s Spaghettini or sometimes Rice whatever you might be craving as a base.

On the 6 o’clock Local News we saw how the Wildfires are affecting California, Oregon, Washington and British Columbia. They also showed how Hurricane Sally is heading towards New Orleans and because it is moving so slow could result in lots of Flooding. They also talked about more Coronavirus Cases in Ontario. Most are Students around the GTA that were just tired of being away from their friends and got together for a party.

Looking at the Radar this evening we might see some Rain before the weekend. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!

  1. Your lunch and dinner entrees look delicious!

We are screwed...a pandemic, wildfires, and a category 2 hurricane in the Gulf following the same trajectory as Hurricane Laura...not looking good.

  2. I'm hoping none of the hurricane predictions come true. The last one wasn't near what they said it would be.

  3. A previous commenter remarked the last hurricane prediction was nearly what they predicted. For our family in SW Louisiana it was bad. One nephew lost his home. All had damage to theirs. Some still without power, others had it restored just two days ago. So with this I can agree..... Let's hope this one is not as bad.

  4. our skies have been a pinkish yellow for a couple of days. the weather guy says it is from the smoke drifting east. Apparently the sunsets up at the lake are amazing red. I have cousins in Yakima Washington who can't leave their house due to the smoke.
