My Turn, Quick Visit and Getting What We Need.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

Why it happens this way we don’t know but for the last few days Kathy has been having trouble sleeping at night while I had no problem. Last night Kathy had no problem sleeping instead I spent most the night awake.

To say I didn’t care the least bit what time I got up but it wasn’t late. There was no smile on my face instead I was having trouble keeping my eyes open and that’s not good when you are cooking breakfast. We had more over ripened Bananas that I mashed up before mixing them into the Pancake Mix. I also added Chocolate Chips to Kathy’s and she loved her meal.

There were plenty of Job Ads to review this morning but the only ones in my field I had already applied for in the last week. I also managed to read and comment on a number of the Blogs we follow.

Considering our activity level we chose to have Chicken Noodle Soup for lunch along with Cookies and a Yogurt Cup for our dessert. We took our Coffee/Tea to the Computers before doing up the Dishes. We were out the door before 2:00 with plans to run a few different errands.

Our first stop was Princess Auto where even though I am temporarily unemployed some of the Specialty Tools that I lost when my Tools were stolen at work last year were “On Sale”. That’s the best time to get them but most were originally purchased at full price. Kathy even found something in the Surplus Area that she needed.

It was just about 3:00 when we loaded the few purchases we had in the Car. It had been some time since we had taken a ride on a Sunny Day so that is what we did. We drove out to our son Kevin’s in Amherstburg. Since he is presently working on a Street Rod he has been in need of Rags for cleaning lots of things up. Today Princess Auto had large bags of them “On Sale” at a reasonable price and since lots of our Stuff is presently stored at his place it was well worth it. We didn’t get a chance to visit with Melissa because she is still Working from Home in their basement. We’ll see you soon Melissa.

It was a wonderful feeling just being out on the road. When we got back to Windsor we topped the Car with gasoline at the Pioneer station. At $1.596/Litre it cost $47.02 to fill it up.

It was nearly 5:00 when we went to the Taco Bell Drive-Thru where we used a Coupon to get Beef Burritos for supper.

Since we didn’t do any grocery shopping all weekend we first stopped at Dollarama to save some money. What we spend there would basically cost double at the grocery store.

When we were in Zehr’s Kathy kept trying to get things for my lunch as if I was still working. Now we’ll simply get the basics and work at using some of our Stock.

The Moon just above the grocery store.

Back at the building we had to hand carry our purchases because all the Shopping Carts have been removed from the building by the New Management by order of the Fire Marshall. It was nearly 7:30 by the time we had everything in our Apartment.

Once everything was put away I found another Twelve Job Adds to check out.

Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment unless it personally attacks someone for their opinion or is Spam.

Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.
