Organizational Start.

As many of our commenters have mentioned before, it’s time for me to slow down a bit so I don’t wear myself out sooner than later.

Even though I woke before 5:00 this morning as if I would be going to work. I was able to roll over for another Two Hours Sleep. When I finally got up with the Overcast Sky there was little thought of going anywhere.

The first program I opened on my Computer was The Weather Network. I was surprised to see the temperature had actually risen after the Sunset yesterday and would drop this morning after the Sun was supposed to reappear. The reason for that mystery was that the Wind had died down throughout the night.

Kathy surprised me when she joined me before 7:30. She seems to be stuck in the Daylight Saving Mode. During the week when she could be relaxing she is up early. We simply had a Banana and Coffee for breakfast while we checked our G-mail.

I mentioned this week about getting a smaller Storage Unit. In order to do that and make it work the Plan was to get Shelving to organize things. Having looked at the sales brochures we found the perfect shelves “On Sale”.

When we left the building, it felt comfortable outside. We were at Princess Auto shortly after 9:00 and the Wind seemed to be picking up. We were having trouble finding the Shelves that were advertised but then there were other people looking for the same ones. Instantly there was Staff there to help us load up our carts. When we walked back outside the temperature had dropped from 52 F (11 C) to 37 F (3 C) in less then a Half Hour.

We headed straight to our new Unit but with 38 MPH (60 KMH) Wind Gust blowing directly in from the West we simply unloaded the Truck and headed for home.

We were so cold that the first thing we did when we got in the Apartment was to make Split Pea Soup with Ham for lunch. Of course there was Cheese to go along with that, as well as Yogurt Cups and Cake for dessert.

We both needed a Snap to recover from our morning before I started doing our Pill Doucettes for the next Forty-Five Days. It took a little longer to do because I also had to count how many Pills and Vitamins we still had on hand. I now have a list that we need to replenish before the next time the process is repeated.

We had a Store Bought Medium Thin Crust Hawaiian Pizza with a little extra Mozzarella Cheese for supper, topped off with Carbonated Juice (Fake Wine). We also had Nanaimo Bars and Yogurt Cups for dessert.

We watched the 6 o’clock Local News where they again talked about the rising number of Coronavirus Cases in our area.

After doing the Dishes we watched a Hallmark Christmas Movie.

With less Wind but colder temperatures tomorrow, we still might venture back to the Storage Units, but right now I’m heading to Bed.

Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment unless it personally attacks someone for their opinion or is Spam.

Be Safe and Enjoy!

  1. Glad you didn't get blown away! Yes. Covid numbers have shot up here in my little TX county. I guess since it's cooled off we're all getting closer.
