Staying Close To Family and Checking The Trailer.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

It felt good just laying in bed looking at Kathy and knowing there was no where else I wanted to be. Then my Back told me to get moving before it sent me another reminder. Within Three Minutes as I was getting things ready for breakfast Kathy came rushing out of the Bedroom thinking she’d overslept. Even though she’d had a Sleepy-Time Tea last night she still had a hard time falling to sleep.

A Muffin became our breakfast and our Coffee/Tea were brought over to the Computers. Even though we slept with the Air Conditioner on last night we shut it off this morning.

There were very few Job Ads posted throughout the day. Those that were seemed to be in different parts of the Province. If this was Forty Years ago it would be an easy decision to relocate for the job. That’s why qualified Trades People are called Journeymen. Now with our Family located nearby I’ll look for work around the City.

Needing a little more fill for lunch we had Grilled Cheese Sandwiches with a Nanaimo Bar and Yogurt Cup for dessert.

We planned on taking the Truck for some exercise so I had to go add the New Sticker on the License Plate. It’s something I’ve had for some time but since the Truck wasn’t going on the road I waited to put it on.

Once that was done we headed to Guardian Storage. I checked the Mail first before heading to the Trailer. We have only opened it up Once this summer so this gave us a chance to spread its wings and check it over. The Meter showed our Batteries were still fully charged which makes us smile knowing that they have only been charged by the Sun for the last Two and a Half Years. After checking the Roof to be certain there was no cracks in the seals we went inside. Everything was clean and we had no Unwanted Visitors inside.

We stopped at McDonald’s for Peach/Pineapple Smoothies to cool us down even though The Weather Network showed our temperature outside only felt like 88 F (31 C).

Back at the Apartment we opened the Bedroom Window and Balcony Door to quickly cool us down.

Not being too hungry for supper but knowing we hadn’t eaten enough for the day we each had a piece of Broasted Chicken with a small bowl of Stir-Fried Vegetables as a side.

The 6 o’clock Local News talked mostly about the Pope being in Canada.

We’ll see what we can do tomorrow before the forecasted Rain.

Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment unless it personally attacks someone for their opinion or is Spam.

Be Safe and Enjoy!
