After having another long day it was no problem for me to sleep in this morning. With slightly cooler temperatures forecasted for the day we simply opened the Balcony Door and Bedroom Window to stay comfortable.
Breakfast was Eggs Over Easy with Toast. Kathy said she was stuffed.
Taking our Coffee/Tea to our Computers I managed to apply for Two Jobs this morning and Two more later this afternoon. After looking outside at the Clouds that started filling the sky I checked The Weather Network to see the Forecast had changed from last night and there was a Storm heading directly towards Windsor.
We read Blogs until 1:00 before making Italian Wedding Soup for lunch with the last of the Mixed Berry Crumble Pie for dessert.
We kept busy doing different kinds of research until the 6 o’clock Local News came on. The Local Weather Guesser was outside the Studio using an Umbrella as the Rain was pouring down around him. We immediately looked outside to see a Cloudy Sky with Dry Pavement below. That brought back memories of when I was a Teenager. I stood on the road sticking my hand into the Rain while the rest of me was dry.
The Weather Network showed our temperature felt like 93 F (34 C) earlier in the afternoon.
It was nearly 7:00 and I started getting a headache along with hunger pains so we ended up having a Store Bought Medium Thin Crust Hawaiian Pizza with added Cheddar Cheese. Once again we were well satisfied.
I’m glad I didn’t hold my breathe waiting for the Interview that was promised yesterday because it didn’t happen.
Tomorrow will be a busier day.

The weather guessers sure couldn't do their job yesterday. The predictions early were no rain. In the afternoon they said we'd get lots and it showed a big blob on the radar, so I didn't water the plants. We didn't get a drop of rain and the blob totally disappeared from the screen!
ReplyDeleteThat is something that irritates me about weather forecasters...they are in a middle of a hurricane and have to show us how windy it is by standing in the midst of it or when there is a flood and they go into the water...silly people!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your rain, we are baking in Texas!
