She Can Hear Me Now and Clarifying.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

Even though we both managed to sleep fairly well last night we also managed to sleep slightly past 8:00 this morning and it felt wonderful.

Breakfast was Peanut Butter on Toast and we took our Hot Drinks over to the Computers. We did our necessary reading before heading out the door around 10:30.

Our destination was Hearing Life in Tecumseh. Kathy had to apologize saying she was feeling like a pest but she hasn’t been able to hear anything from her New Hearing Aid in the Right Ear for a few days. Tina was there by herself but she still took the time to check it out. When she returned with a smile on her face she explained some things to Kathy that the Audiologist had not done. Some earwax had gotten into the tip of the wire making it so no sound could be heard. She explained in great detail how to clean and service the units. Kathy was very thankful and left feeling more confident of how to maintain them.

Our next stop was Guardian Storage to collect our Mail. From there we headed over to Motor City Community Credit Union to do some banking.

We then went to Dollarama where we needed to pick up a few things along with some Carbonated Juice (Fake Wine). We noticed it was hard to find last Winter so we’ll slowly stock up now so we don’t have a repeat next year.

Since it was past 12:30 when we headed to Wendy’s for our lunch. We enjoyed their Grilled Chicken Wraps, Small Chocolate Frosties and Seniors Soft Drinks.

Even with the heat starting to build we stopped at Walmart. Kathy needed an Eyebrow Pencil before we headed to the Produce Section. After we got home the other day we realized we’d missed a few things but part of the problem is we have a Small Refrigerator in our Apartment which means we can’t overstock.

By the time we got home my Hernia was telling me to have a seat so the rest of the afternoon was spent on the Computers. Our lunch actually held us over past the 6 o’clock Local News.

For supper we had Leftover Stir-Fry in Wraps with Shredded Cheddar Cheese and a piece of German Chocolate Cake for dessert. A well balanced meal (good-bad) wouldn’t you say.

The Weather Network showed our temperature felt like 93 F (34 C) this afternoon.

A little more Clarification on getting rid of Spammers on your Blogs. You just cannot delete them or they will continue happening. You need to identify them as Spam and allow them to stay there for about a day or two. That gives Blogger time to recognize them for what they are. You can then delete them and they should not return.

Another notation to Contessa your Comment made it through after all the times it wouldn’t. Something has changed for the better.

Tomorrow will be a busy day.

Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment unless it personally attacks someone for their opinion or is Spam.

Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

  1. Ha. Glad Tina got things figured out. I assume she's a "tech" person and not the person in charge. The tech people, it seems to me are often the ones who can get things taken care of the easiest. Anyway, I'm assuming the cake is the "bad" part of a "well balanced meal." Sure looks good to me. Of course the "good" stuff does too....but....

  2. I have identified the Spammers as such and left them for more than a month before deleting them but they still managed to post during that time.

I am sorry your hernia has been hurting...I was under the impression you were scheduled for surgery soon...hope that is still the case.

On spammers, after being hit a few years ago I have now set my settings so that any comments 7+ days after a post publishes must be reviewed by me, this way my readers are not bombarded with spam.

  4. I don't have a blog but I have people on Facebook who want to be my friend. Mostly older men in uniform (yeah, right)
