Rain Rain Go Away, Making A List and Checking It Twice.

Our Location today is at Windsor, Ontario.

It felt wonderful to be able to sleep in this morning. Waking at my normal time I simply rolled over for some much needed rest. An Hour later I had to repeat the process but lay there for a Half Hour before finally getting up.

I had already checked my messages and was in the process of getting caught up on reading the Blogs we follow when Kathy joined me. This has gotten harder then I figured it would be. When we have things pop up during the week it makes it harder to stay current and adds to the weekend reading when there are so many chores as well as errands that need to be done.

Looking outside the forecasted Rain was really coming down giving us the impression this could be a washed out day. Breakfast was a Leftover Cinnamon Roll that we shared along with the last Two Bananas before bringing our Coffee/Tea to the Computers.

My body is not used to relaxing so when I suddenly started nodding off while reading that early in the day I set up my Epson Salts Foot Bath up. It’s amazing how that takes the pain out of your feet. Just wish I’d known about this years ago.

Italian Wedding Soup was our lunch along with the Carrot Cake that we were gifted from our daughter Karen last evening. Again we took our Coffee/Tea back to the Computers where I continued to get caught up on my reading.

Around 1:30 the Clouds started to break up and the Sun was suddenly shining brightly. We worked together checking our Pullout Pantry Shelves and the space between them. We took note of what was needed and what we had stocked up on. Our List ended up shorter then expected but as I’ve mentioned before since I’m working going shopping for essentials is a big deal for me and Kathy. In response to a Comment Kathy does miss having me home and even though there are people at the Plant I’m lonely for Kathy.

Our first stop was at Staples where we picked up a 2022 Calendar for our Day Planner. Most people are now using their Cell Phones to keep track of appointments but we like to write things on a Calendar for those kinds of things.

Next we headed to Dollarama to start getting things on our Shopping List. Surprisingly they had some Carbonated Juices in so we got Six Bottles to bring home. None of their outlets have had any for a few months.

A stop at the Bulk Barn helped us get some of our Healthy Snacks at reasonable prices.

Next was the Zehr’s grocer store where we got the Produce, Meats and Frozen Foods that were still on our List.

We made an additional stop at Walmart looking for a Book that Kathy had heard about.

By the time we had everything put away in the Apartment we decided that a Store Bought Thin Crust Hawaiian Pizza was perfect for supper.

The 6 o’clock Local News reported 35 New Coronavirus Cases in the Windsor/Essex Region.

The Weather Network showed our Humidex felt like 86 F (30 C) this afternoon and it could be even warmer tomorrow.

It felt good being together getting things accomplished for ourselves today.

Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment unless it personally attacks someone for their opinion or is Spam.

Be Safe and Enjoy!
