Change Of Plans and Changing Season.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

After working hard at the Plant yesterday then attending our grandson Conner’s Birthday Party and ending with washing my Coveralls in the Pail in the Bathtub when my head hit that pillow last night setting the Alarm was the last thing on my mind. I was a little shocked when Sunlight started filling the room meaning I had slept later then planned.

I only had time to start getting things ready for breakfast when Kathy joined me. Having English Muffins with our Coffees was far more then we needed before heading to the Computers. As per usual the first thing I checked was The Weather Network to be better prepared as to what was heading our way. When I saw a Large Storm heading our way our day’s activities were suddenly turned head over heals.

I headed downstairs to the Laundry Room to give my Coveralls a machine washing. By doing so gives them a better agitation and in the final Spin Cycle they also come out dryer. That gave me time to clean the Bathtub and read a couple of Blogs before returning to retrieve them.

Once I’d wiped out the Washer and returned to the Apartment we were soon heading out the door. It wasn’t even 11:00 and time was of the essence today so we went to Wendy’s Drive-Thru for their Chicken Wraps, Small Chocolate Frosties and Seniors Soft Drinks for lunch.

Satisfied we headed to our Climate Controlled Storage Unit at Guardian Storage. Kathy needed a few heavier Boxes moved so she could go through them. I also checked for a Voltage Meter but it must be in another Toolbox.

Our next stop was the Dollarama where we started checking things off of our Shopping List such as Bread.

Our next stop was Zehr’s grocery store where we picked up Produce and some Meat.

It seemed like we finished much too early. Since I’ve been working our Sunday shopping is a way of getting out together. Even thought the Sun had disappeared behind Clouds we decided to head Canadian Tire. We just walked around looking at things that caught our eyes and finally walking out with Small Storage Container that will help better organize our closet.

The picture looks less threatening then the Clouds

Heading for the Car we noticed the Clouds were looking a little more threatening. At the building we used a Shopping Cart to haul our purchases upstairs. By the time I returned the Cart downstairs the Rain was coming down with a vengeance.

We shared a Store Bought Medium Thin Crust Vegetarian Pizza for supper and a Pear for dessert.

The Weather Network showed our 50 F (10 C) high temperature today felt like 46 F (8 C) with this becoming our Seasonal Average and Rain forecasted nearly every day this coming week.

The 6 o’clock Local News reported more on easing of the Coronavirus Restrictions starting tomorrow for the Windsor/Essex Region.
