When Paul the Owner saw me up on the first level Guarding marking Guide Rollers that weren’t doing their jobs with Soap Stone all he did was wave knowing they’ll be replaced soon. I then continued with my Morning Walk Around. It also gave me the chance to plan what jobs we’d be doing this weekend, in what order they’d be done and how we’d would be doing them. It also gave the Line Workers the chance to hand me more Hooks that still needed to be straightened.

It only took a few minutes in the Maintenance Compound at the Anvil and everything was the way they should have been. With no Carriers needing any repairs I continued cleaning the Spray Nozzles that I had been told to salvage before we installed the Manifold Links. The easiest way was to simply take them apart and clean what was still usable. It was funny how I could salvage the different parts from the different nozzles to create something that was totally usable.

I was outside having lunch and talking to Kathy when Avry came outside in a panic that a Pipe where we had worked was leaking. Thinking it was a major disaster about to unfold I shortened my call. It was a Check Valve that had started to leak but the Drip Tray that we had installed on the weekend was only tacked in place which allowed some water to leak back to the floor. I applied a bead of Silicone only to find out later it can’t be used as the Pump drains to the City Sewage. In the morning when everyone is at the other end of the Paint-Line I’ll clean away the Silicone and weld that seam solid. The Check Valve can be replaced any time.

All day I had not seen Kharen the Supervisor and was pleasantly surprised to hear he had driven to Toronto to meet his family coming in on an International Flight.

For supper we didn’t want to overdo it so we shared a Garden Salad and a small Quiche but we did wash it down with a bottle of Carbonated Juice. We are trying these St. Hubert Personal Pies as a way of knowing whether we would like them as a quick meal. In the Microwave it was done in Three Minutes.

On the 6 o’clock Local News they reported another Coronavirus Death in the Windsor/Essex Region bringing the total since the start to 461 along with 22 New Coronavirus Cases.

The Weather Network showed our high temperature today felt like 73 F (23 C) again today that cooled down quickly when a fast moving front pounded the area with heavy Rain. We’ll also be seeing cooler temperatures starting to move in.
