Merry Christmas and A Busy Day.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

It was a wonderful feeling to look at the Clock a few times before finally deciding to get out of bed at 8:00 this morning. Normally the first thing I do on a day off is to get things ready for breakfast but with changing tastes in what we are now eating I headed to my Computer to start getting caught up on all my E-mails, Local News and Blogs that I’ve fallen behind on.

I’d barely gotten into my second Blog when Kathy made her way to the table. When asked what she wanted to eat I was glad that I had waited. Normally she has Toast and I have Cereal most mornings so today we had the opposite which felt like we were having a treat. We did finish our Coffee/Tea at the Computers while dealing with some On-Line Correspondents that reverted to phone calls to make them happen. It was a good feeling being home to deal with them.

We headed out shortly passed 11:30 so we could get things accomplished ahead of the forecasted Rain. Our first stop was to Guardian Storage to pick up our Mail and there was plenty of it. The Post Office always delivers at 11:00 in the morning so now you understand why we waited.

The next stop was Pioneer gas station to top off the Car with gasoline. Not only will it be needed this weekend but Kathy will need the Car while I’m at work.

It was already passed 12:30 when we went to Arby’s Drive-Thru to order lunch. It was hard to believe that they had already sold out of the Philly-Cheese Steak we were looking at having so we had a very good second choice at a lower price.

Since we were energized it was time to walk it off. We were barely in Dollarama working on our Shopping List when my Cell Phone went off. It was one of this mornings calls that were finally getting straightened around. Kathy was nearly finished by the time I got back inside. Passing by their Seasonal Area (Christmas Items) the shelves were mostly bare.

Our next stop was Bulk Barn where we get our Healthy Snacks at much lower prices then at the grocery store.

Finally we made it to Zehr’s grocery store where we finished getting everything on our List. You could tell that it was Christmas Eve by the number of shoppers and by what they were buying.

Since we had some Frozen Foods we headed back to the Apartment to put them away then Planned on heading back out again. That was when the Rain showed up so we just stayed home.

For supper we kept with the idea of not letting food go to waste and had a small serving of Spaghetti but treated ourselves to a Fresh Cinnamon Roll for dessert.

When the 6 o’clock Local News came on they did not report any Coronavirus Numbers for the Windsor/Essex Region but on the progress of Santa as he makes his way around the world.

The Weather Network showed we had a high temperature of 49 F (9.6 C) feeling like 36 F (2 C) and will see close the same tomorrow but that won’t last.

Not wanting to have chores tomorrow I headed down to the Laundry Room this evening with an extra load as well. One Washer took our money but wouldn’t start while another just keeps filling with water. They also have a Dryer that won’t go up to heat. Time for repairs or new machines.

Since tomorrow is a very special day Kathy and I would like to wish everyone a Safe and Merry Christmas that can be spent with those you love.
