Good Sleep, Rising Numbers and More White Stuff.

Our Location today is at Windsor, Ontario.

The other night I had a slight problem sleeping because I felt cold under the sheets we had on the bed. When I mentioned that along with the colder temperatures heading our way to Kathy her answer was simple “Leave the Bedcover on”. That was how we kept warm during the Winter in the Trailer. The only reason I didn’t do it before was she tends to toss the sheets off when she’s warm then pulls them on when she gets cold. Last night we both slept like a couple of rocks under the warmth of the Bedcover and neither of us took them off.

It was 8:30 when I rolled out of bed and seemed to have a sluggish start. After starting my morning routine I had barely turned on my Computer when Kathy came out to join me. I was serving breakfast before she sat at the table.

There were no additional Job Postings for me to apply for the entire day. We spent most of the morning at the Computers.

Lunch was simple we had Leftover Pizza from last night topped off with an Apple Sauce Cup for dessert. We cleaned up the dishes before going back to the Computers.

I managed to finish reading all the Blogs that we follow on our Sidebar that had published since last night. That gave me the chance to exercise. For some unknown reason I’ve been having a hard time being motivated to workout but I felt up to the challenge today. I managed to get all Three Sets of my entire routine in and feel good for it.

We watched an episode of “Law and Order” before the 6 o’clock Local News came on. They spoke about more witnesses taking the stand in the Derek Chauvin Trial. That was news to us since we didn’t watch that today.

The Federal Government announced the construction of a plant in Quebec to produce Vaccines. It will take nearly Five Years to have it running but it will make Canada less dependent of foreign manufacturing plants.

The Provincial Government is supposed to announce tomorrow morning which region of the Ontario will go back into Lock-Down to stop the spread of the Coronavirus. The Windsor/Essex Region saw 54 New Cases bringing the total to 70 of the Variants.

Our high temperature of 59 F (15 C) was reached between Midnight and One this morning before dropping to near Freezing. We did recover getting back up to 50 F (10 C) this afternoon. Tonight will be Below Freezing with a Flurry accumulation of up to 2”. Tomorrow we’ll be lucky to reach Spring Temperatures.

After the News we modified a Caesar Salad for our supper by adding finely chopped Celery, Onions and Peppers. We also shared an Acorn Squash as a side along with an Apple Sauce Cup for dessert.

We later watched “Bull”, “Nancy Drew” and “The Equalizer” to fill our evening.

  1. Our snow just started and it is 7:15 am, 2 hours late. We aren't expecting as much as you but ours could stick around longer because it is only 22F here. Blech.
Yummy, I love acorn squash baked like that!!

  3. Really cool here for Spring in Alabama. But we have the new ventless gas fireplace working. It really heats up the place.
