No April Fools Joke.

Our Location today is at Windsor, Ontario.

Click on the pictures to enlarge.

After having a number of days with above normal temperatures in last night’s Post it was mentioned that was about to change. By the time I published our Blog, shut down my Computer and I looked outside things were turning White.

What we saw this morning

We both slept well though I was up long before Kathy. The landscape was White but it was far from the Two Inches of accumulation in the forecast. Thankfully even though we did see Below Freezing Temperatures it was not as bad as the forecast had shown.

The Ontario Government this morning another Province-Wide Lock-Down in an attempt to stop the spread of the Coronavirus and its Variants. It will begin Saturday morning at 12:01 and last for Four Weeks. Many of the small businesses that have repeatedly opened and closed might not survive this time.

All melted before noon.

It was no surprise not to find any Job Advertisements on the Computer today.

For lunch we had Macaroni and Cheese along with Shortbread Cookies as well as Mixed Berries over Yogurt for dessert.

It was shortly after 4:00 when we headed out with a few stops to make. The temperature had gotten above the Freezing Mark but with the Gusty Wind blowing from the North it felt much colder. When we exit the building from the rear the Wind is funnelled between our building and the next basically amplifying the effect.

Our first stop was Green Shield so that Kathy could submit the Claim Form for her at home Foot Treatment.

Winds were less then the other day.

Next we swung by Guardian Storage to pick up our Mail. According to Candice the Lock-Down rules are so unclear that they will be open.

Our main destination was Fantastic Sam’s for haircuts. We only waited Five Minutes before Julia wave Kathy in while I stayed in the Car. When Kathy was finished we switched spots. As many Barbers, Stylists and Hair Salons are saying with all the added Precautions they have added there has been no reports of any Virus being spread at their locations.

It was past 6:00 when we left so we took the Expressway back across town. We stopped at the Burger King Drive-Thru where we got Two Original Chicken Sandwiches for $6.00. They were tasty, satisfying and didn’t break the bank.

Back at the Apartment we got caught up on the Computers before watching the Two HourLaw and Order Crossover”. It was interesting but like NCI will be Two different story lines.

On the 11 o’clock Local News they reviewed the Provincial Governments decision then the local numbers. In Windsor/Essex there were 37 New Cases bringing the total Active Cases to 337.

As for the weather today we actually reached 34 F (1C) as a high. They also showed that the next couple of nights will be Below Freezing but that our daytime temps will become more comfortable.

Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

Krackers

You know you’re RV trash when the RV parked nearby is a cool place to tie your clothes line to.

  1. If we didn't have meteorologists to forwarn us we might go in shock with the weather changes. 🤣🤣
    Isn't spring fun?
Stupid lockdown's, we don't believe they do any good as once things open up we are all back at square one.

  2. With yet another lockdown it feels like the population is being herded this way and that way with no great improvement to the situation. No wonder many are starting to act rebellious.

  3. I feel for you all! I don't know how the small business people can make it if they're shut down once again!

  4. Our county only has 26 active cases. Surprisingly several of them are in the nursery school my great grandchild attends. Our little fellow has a constant running nose, so they have sent him home. His mother has had to take time off work now too because she can't find any other child care. She is a JK/K teacher. And that's how schools end up closed.

  5. I am so hoping the vaccines will be available there soon. It has made a big difference here in my small town in Texas as it's been a couple of months now. Numbers are going down, and with the onset of warm weather, should continue to improve.
