Kathy took an Extra Strength Tylenol before going to bed last night for the Pain and Swelling in her arm from the Vaccine. It wasn’t as intense when she woke this morning but it was still noticeable.
With this latest Provincial Lock-Down there were no new job postings this morning but there were plenty of new Blog postings on our Sidebar that would take me the better part of the day to read. Like I’ve said many times it may not happen the same day but I will eventually read them all and Comment when I have something to contribute.
We had Chicken and Rice Soup for lunch along with Orange Slices, Shortbread Cookies along with a Vanilla Pudding Cup with a dab of Leftover Strawberry Jam for added flavouring.
I
was able to Apply
for a Job
this afternoon along with making an appointment to get my first
Vaccine
next week. We
finished a few other
things
on the Computers
before heading
out the door just before 4:00.Check the Wind.
Even though the Sun was shining brightly this afternoon the wind was also gusting as high as 37 MPH (60 KLH). The outside temperature was decent but the Wind Gusts being funnelled between the buildings made it feel Sub-Zero making us both feel chilled. As soon as we were in the Car we needed to open our Coats so as to not overheat.
We
arrived at our daughter Karen’s house in Tecumseh
within Fifteen
Minutes
to
celebrate Easter
as a Family
early.
This gathering of family had been planned long before the
announcement of the Lock-Down.
Since we only go out for necessities, Karen is Working
from Home,
Greg and Kylla are both on Lay-Off
due
to the Electronic
Chip Shortage
we all felt Safe
together.
Kylla
is still going to school and soon will be working in the Hospitals
to finish becoming a Registered
Nurse
so she has been fully Vaccinated
for sometime. Sanford could not get enough of us as soon as we walked
in the door he started bringing his newest Toys
to show us. Karen
and Greg were busy cooking the last of the meal.(L-R) 8 year old, 57 Pound Sanford,
9 month old, 108 Pound Nova,
Having Easter Dinner.
Tyler and his girlfriend Jess soon arrived with their nine month old puppy Nova. Even though it’s been nearly Three Months since we last saw her she instantly came up to us for some loving.
The meal was Spiral Sliced Ham, Scalloped Potatoes, Carrots, Cauliflower/Broccoli Salad, Green Beans, Dressing and Dinner Rolls. Even though a single plate was enough I took another scoop of the Cauliflower/Broccoli Salad. It was that good.
As
soon as Karen served the Coffee
and Tea
she then brought out a Homemade
Carrot Cake
with Cream
Cheese Icing.
That put dinner over the top. We
stayed and visited a while longer before getting Hugs
and saying our Good-Byes.Did you say Treats?
At
the Apartment
we
did watch a Hallmark
Movie
before the 11
o’clock Local News
came on. The first thing they reported was that after over a year
Canada
had reached One
Million Confirmed
Coronavirus Cases
today. We are still doing better then many other
countries
but due to the problems we are having to get Vaccines
the
Federal
and Provincial Governments
are highly concerned. The Windsor/Essex
Region
reported another 100
New Cases
over
the last
Two Day
period.Today's High.
With
calmer Winds
and warmer Temperatures
we’ll find something to do tomorrow.More Treats.
Kathy and I would like to wish all our Family, Friends, Followers and Readers a very Safe and Happy Easter.
