Sleep Reversal, AstraZenica Vaccine Explained and Spring Weather.

Our Location today is at Windsor, Ontario.

As mentioned in last night’s post I took a couple of Melatonin Tablets before writing the Blog. It worked like a charm and I was able to sleep the entire night. In the past I waited until it was time to go to bed to take them and they hardly worked. Now I know the secret.

I was wide awake by 8:00 this morning feeling refreshed. There wasn’t a Cloud in the sky when I opened the Balcony Blinds. After checking The Weather Network then the Local News I was disappointed not to find any Job Postings I could apply for.

When Kathy was having breakfast she mentioned having had a hard time sleeping. She kept waking on and off the entire night.

For lunch we had Vegetable Beef Soup on Toast. Since it was more like a stew it was the perfect way to eat it besides it used the last Two slices of bread we had. We also had Orange Slices and Fruit Cake for dessert.

It was close to 1:00 when we finished cleaning the Dishes. It was only a few minutes more before we headed out the door. It was warm enough that neither of us had to wear a jacket.

Our first destination was the nearby Shoppers Drug Mart. On all recent stops all the Shoppers outlets have been out of the brand of Multi-Vitamins that we are accustomed to taking. Today was our lucky day so I picked up Two Bottles.

We saw that they were giving out AstraZenica Vaccines when we were inside so we asked for a Consult with the Pharmacist. We explained the Severe Reaction that Kathy had to the Shingles Shot and asked if it would be safe for her to get it.

He explained they had already used their entire supply and that we should schedule Kathy’s appointment through the Windsor/Essex County Health Unit. They would send her to one of the Vaccine Clinics who would be better set up to deal with any adverse affects that she might suffer where the best they could do was to administer Anti-Histamines and call 911.

We then drove to Dollarama where we picked up food stocks at lower prices then the grocery store.

Next we drove over to the to the Zehr’s grocery store. With the Shopping List in hand Kathy went inside while I went next door to Bulk Barn to pick up Pitted Dates that Kathy likes to snack on. Definitely cheaper then the grocery store.

By the time I caught up with Kathy she was still in the Produce Section. Within an Hour we had everything on the list except one item. After Twenty Minutes we were just about to give up on it when we found it totally in the wrong section of the store.

It was after 5:00 when we got everything into the Apartment. We had to open the Balcony Door to cool things down. It was past 5:30 before everything was put away. We’ll call the Health Unit tomorrow.

While the Store Bought Medium Thin Crust Spinach Pizza was cooking we learned that it was 68 F (20 C) outside this afternoon.

On the 6 o’clock Local News we learned there were 11 New Coronavirus Cases in the area bringing the Active Cases to 282 but only 25 were still in Hospital.

We watched a movie then an episode of “Criminal Minds” that we had missed.
