As mentioned yesterday I wasn’t going to take any chances of a repeat so around 10:00 last night I took a Tylenol Night-Time Tablet. By the time I published the Blog at 11:00 I was struggling to keep my eyes open. Other then making a minor CPAP Mask adjustment around 2:00 it was past 8:00 this morning when I crawled out of bed.
Looking outside there wasn’t a cloud in the sky but looking at The Weather Network showed the temperature to be below the Freezing Mark. Our morning was spent making a List of things we needed to look into today.
For lunch I made Grilled Cheese Sandwiches with Olives for garnishing while Kathy put together a dessert plate of Orange Slices, Maple Cookies and an Apple Sauce Cup. We sat back at the Computers before heading out around 1:30.
Last week I received a Sale Brochure that was advertising a Solar Trickle Battery Charger which I thought would work great for keeping the Truck Batteries charged when it’s not being used. We went to Princess Auto where the place was packed but all the Cashiers were open and with the floor marked every Six Feet there was some form of Social Distancing even though everyone was wearing their Mask. In Canada when you talk about Solar Anything it costs more then in the US so when I saw this priced for Seventy Dollars for a Flexible 8 Watt Panel I got it.
Our next stop was Dollarama where we again gathered some groceries at discounted prices. We were elated when we found they had brought in more Carbonated Juice (Fake Wine) for the first time in months as our stash has been depleting.
From there we stopped at Motor City Community Credit Union so we could pick up some Quarters and Loonies ($1.00 Coins).
We then headed over to check for our Mail at Guardian Storage. As we approached a Semi was pulling in the rear exit so we followed it in so we could check on the Trailer. Everything was good except there was a New Fifth Wheel Trailer close by. While getting the Mail in the Office the girls said the Owner had only picked it up this morning.
We headed over to Bulk Barn where we picked up more Nuts, Dates and Raisins to snack on along with some Herbal Teas.
Going next door to Zehr’s grocery store we needed a more Fruits and Vegetables along with other things we over-used on the weekend.
One of the things on our List was Film Wrap similar to Saran Wrap but it comes in a Thousand Foot Roll that fits in an Under Cabinet Dispenser and is not sold at the grocery store. We headed over to Canadian Tire where I knew it was sold. After getting Two Rolls of the Film Wrap I thought “What if they sold the Solar Charger that I was looking for”? They did and was I ever happy to have looked. These are 7 Watt Solid Panels with both the Battery Clams and the 12 Volt Power Outlet Plug for only Thirty Dollars each. We got One for each vehicle and will return the one from Princess Auto later this week.
Back at the building we hauled all our purchases up to the Apartment by hand. We didn’t think we would be buying this much so we had not brought our Two Wheeled Shopping Cart with us.
Once everything was put away we had a Medium Thin Crust Chicken Pizza for supper along with our Carbonated Juice.
On the 6 o’clock Local News we were told there were 5 New Coronavirus Deaths along with 23 New Cases bringing the total number of Active Cases in the Windsor/Essex region to 280. Our temperature only reached a high of 36 F (2 C) today but we should see an improvement tomorrow.
As we watched an episode of Criminal Minds this evening and I was having a hard time to stay awake. That Tylenol I took last night is still making me tired so I’ll call this a night.

Krackers
You know you’re RV trash when
the RV parked next door is a cool place to tie your clothes line to.
Well that was certainly some running around getting things done! Wow never heard of 1000 foot saran wrap!
