Sound Sleep, Another Error, Military Presence and Astrazenica Warning.

Our Location today is at Windsor, Ontario.

It felt strange that I actually made it to bed before Kathy last night. She was reading her book and I was that tired. The only thing I remembered was rolling onto my side until the stupid Mask Liner was tickling my face like the other night. Thinking to myself I just got to bed why does this keep happening. I made the adjustment and was just about to connect the hose to the Mask when I saw the Clock. It was already past 8:30.

Looking out the Balcony Door the entire sky was filled with Clouds as a fact I thought that I saw some tiny Flakes floating by.

I got things ready to make breakfast before returning to the Computer. Checking The Weather Network it showed a temp in the upper teens with a North Wind blowing. We later made it to 30 F (-1 C) for our daytime high.

As soon as I heard Kathy moving I immediately started cooking breakfast. She was impressed that I have been trying to serve different things in the morning instead of the same old same old. We enjoyed the French Toast as a change.

Back at the Computers the only Job I could apply for was the one that kept showing an error yesterday and it gave the same error message today.

When it came time for lunch with Kathy’s help we modified a Garden Salad by adding Grapes, Orange Slices. Apple Chunks and Shredded Mozzarella Cheese. Using Fruit rather then Vegetables made it satisfying without having that heavy feeling.

We checked the US News Media to see if anything was happening at the US Capital. We had recently heard of another possible attack on our Local News. The only thing we saw was a heavier Military presence. Later we watched another episode of “Law and Order”.

The North Wind made it feel cold.
The day was mostly Cloudy.

On our 6 o’clock Local News the Canadian Government is saying the Astrazenica Vaccine has a Warning and should not be given to people over the age of Sixty-Five. That’s strange because they just vaccinated everyone living in Nursing Homes using that brand. Now the Government is saying they’ll vaccinate those Sixty-Four Years old and younger. That bodes well since there was 1 New Coronavirus Death of a gentleman in his Seventies along with 19 New Cases bringing the Active Cases 264. Our temperatures will slowly rise over the next few days.

I made Spaghetti with Sauce and Shredded Cheese for supper and topped it off with am Applesauce Cup for dessert. We’ll see what happens tomorrow.

  1. That is a different twist adding fruit to a salad. Your spaghetti looks so good I have been wanting some for a while.

I had not heard that about the AstraZeneca vaccine I know they have been giving it in the US to seniors. Today I heard that Catholic Bishops were telling their church members to not take the Johnson & Johnson vaccine because it contained parts of aborted fetuses.

Frankly, I will take any vaccine when my turn comes.

  2. The AstraZenica-Oxford vaccine is not used in the US. They have not applied for an emergency use authorization because they have not completed a stage three trial that the FDA will accept. The data on its efficacy in the older 65 age cohort is murky, thus there is still debate on giving it to the elderly.
There is no fetal tissue of any sort in any vaccine. J&J as well as Pfizer started their research using cell lines from fetal tissue, but they are not used in manufacturing. I wish the Catholic church would get their facts straight before speaking on the subject.

  3. Allison is right...I stand corrected. The three Covid-19 vaccines that have been approved for use in the USA are Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine, Moderna NIAID vaccine, and most recently the Johnson & Johnson.

I also agree that the Catholic Church should get their facts straight and issue a retraction because based on the news media reports many of their members have decided not to get vaccinated with that particular brand even though it is the only one available to them in their communities.

  4. Our community has been bumped back to Yellow from Green due to people gathering. A party the weekend the area opened resulted in quite a number of people being infected, as well as several businesses being close. The young people may feel invincible but they don't think about their elders.
