Wet Celebration.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

Since our AC tends to turn our Apartment into a Walk-In Freezer, we shut it off before going to bed. We both managed to get a better night’s sleep and managed to be up at a decent hour. That doesn’t mean that I did not wake up to look at the Clock at 5:00 then 6:30, as if I was going to work.

A Pastry and Coffee were again our breakfast as we settled in at the Computers, after looking outside to a very wet environment. The Weather Guessers were showing an On-Off Pattern for the remainder of the day and we can say they were correct.

From reading Blogs we found that have many of our Readers are on alert for evacuation from Wildfires, getting stung by massive Hornets, Heat Waves that are keeping many inside both down south and here in Canada, we feel that simply dealing with Health Issues is a lot easier.

After having Split Pea with Ham Soup for lunch and Chocolate Cake for dessert we cleaned up the Dishes before heading out the door. The trees were still dripping wet from the latest Rain that passed through, when we went outside.

Our drive out to our daughter-in-law Jen’s house in Essex was uneventful until we got to what used to be Main Street. Even Essex was a victim of the Construction Season. There was a lot of Detours, that for someone unfamiliar with the area would have been a mental challenge. We arrived right on time.

After attending Graduations for Two Grandsons on Wednesday evening, Jen thought it would be nice to have a little Family Celebration today. It was too hot for dressing up and with the Rain it was better to stay inside. It turned into a Family Visit with lots of jokes and memories being brought up. We also enjoyed Cake with Ice-Cream, to top it off.

Kathy was surprised to see lots of Farmers Fields filled with water, that was not there on our way into Essex.

After stopping at Pioneer gas station to top off the car we stopped at Arby’s and used a coupon to buy supper.

We weren’t home more than Ten Minutes when the Thunder and Lightning along with Rain started over again.

We are hoping for a dryer day tomorrow.

Be Safe and Enjoy!

You Might Be a Redneck If

You can't go to church this year because your Sunday socks are being used as the truck's gas cap.
