Spring-Like Day.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

Even before going to bed last night I adjusted our Clocks back an Hour to take advantage of it. Having gotten up at 6:30 Saturday morning to go to work I again got up at that time this morning. That means my body’s Biological Clock will find it easier come Monday and I could get some work done.

I had the clothes sorted and was downstairs in the Laundry Room by 7:30. It appeared I was the early bird so took up the Four Washers with my Coveralls having a machine to themselves.

Back in the Apartment I scrubbed out the Bathtub of the dirty water that decided to miss the drain and splashed back. With that over I was able to get things ready for breakfast before heading back to the Laundry Room.

With everything transferred to the Dryers as I was putting in the coins I found the same Dryer that had the Coin Slide jammed like Two Weeks ago. A bit of moving clothes around helped solve that problem.

We enjoyed our Toast for breakfast before checking things on the Computers.

When it was time to go back to the Laundry Room I had to switch Clothes from another Dryer that was not drying the clothes to one that was. I managed to get all the Clothes put away in the Apartment before 10:30.

We got more Blog reading done before having Chicken Noodle Soup for lunch along with a Bosc Pear and Cinnamon Roll for dessert.

It was nearly 2:00 when we headed out. It felt like a Spring Day outside and we were enjoying it.

When Home Hardware and Lowe’s didn’t have the small Wood-Screws I needed for a quick repair we headed over to The Home Depot to try. Looking over at another patron walking in I addressed him by his first name. He at first stood there shaking his head then he recognized me. It was Don a former Co-Worker that I hadn’t seen in Twelve Years. We spent nearly a Half-Hour catching up. Kathy spotted the Screws we needed before I did.

We swung around to the Pioneer gas station to fill the Car. Kathy has to run some errands and even though our Escape gets great fuel economy she would be stressing out worried if she would make it home.

Our next stop was Dollarama where we picked up not only Food Stocks we normally get but brand name Cleaners that were half the price of the grocery store.

At Zehr’s grocery store we picked up Produce, Meats, Dairy Products and Frozen Foods that were not available at the Dollarama.

The bad thing about going back to Eastern Standard Time is we were unloading our purchases at our building as the Sun was setting. By the time we had everything put away and cooked a Store Bought Thin Crust Chicken and Spinach Pizza for supper the 6 o’clock Local News was just coming on. They did not report any Coronavirus Cases in the Windsor/Essex Region today even though they stressed our numbers were again climbing.

The Weather Network showed our high temperature today only felt like 59 F (15 C) but that is an improvement.

Another nice day forecasted for tomorrow before it turns wet and starts to cool down.

Anyone that reads our Comments will know that our Good Friends from the state of Washington Wayne and Sue have arrived in Quartzsite and said there’s plenty of room. We wish we were there also as we miss their company and the fun we had. We’ll keep our fingers crossed for next year.
