Catching Up On Everything and Kathy’s Bad Knee.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

After yesterday’s long hours to be certain everything would be running at the Plant on Monday I struggled to stay awake to write and publish the Blog last night. When my head hit the pillow the only thing I remembered was looking at the Clock over Eight Hours later.

Looking outside Flurries were starting just as forecasted so there was no rush to get outside. I started checking my Computer for messages and getting caught up reading other Blogs. I waited until Kathy was up before deciding together what to have for breakfast. By the time we returned to the Computers the Mixed Precipitation was starting to cover the Windshields of vehicles in the parking lot.

We both enjoyed soaking our feet in the Epson Salts Foot Bath that I set up. As mentioned before they seem to take the Stress out of our entire bodies not just our feet.

With the cooler temperatures we were starting to feel chilled so decided on having Split Pea with Ham Soup for our lunch then shared the last of the Leftover Pineapple for dessert. Leaving lunch settle we took our Coffees to the Computers.

We are feeling the pain that others are also feeling of not heading South and a bit of jealousy towards those that have already crossed the International Border and starting to make new adventures.

Kathy has a Knee that pops out every once in a while. We were just getting ready to run some errands when it happened again this afternoon. With some massaging and wearing her Knee Brace eventually she was able to walk on it at a slower pace. Since it was Raining fairly steady and not wanting Kathy to twist her Knee I had her wait at the Rear Door while bringing up the Car.

When we ordered our Slip On Cover for our Recliner Love-Seat it didn’t come with any “S Hooks” that they instruct you to use during the installation. Having checked all the local Hardware Stores and not finding anything lite enough to use we returned to Fabricland. They were completely out of the size “S Hooks” we needed but they had small Curtain Hooks that would do the job perfectly. Kathy waited in the Car.

At Dollarama we found lots of the food stocks that we needed on our Shopping List at lower prices then they would cost at the grocery store.

Next we drove to the Zehr’s grocery store where we found the Meat, Dairy and Frozen Foods that weren’t at the Dollarama.

It was after 4:30 when we got everything into the Car but we weren’t done. Being grocery day and a day we can treat ourselves we went to Wendy’s Drive-Thru and had our usual Chicken Wraps, Small Chocolate Frosties and Seniors Soft Drinks for supper. When we arrived at the Pick-Up Window their Computerized Pop Dispenser would not co-operate so they had to run around to the front to fill all the Soft Drink orders.

Since this was Sunday the 6 o’clock Local News only reported Coronavirus Cases had risen throughout the province of Ontario but did not give any numbers for the Windsor/Essex Region.

The Weather Network showed our high temperature today of 36 F (2 C) only felt like 28 F (-2 C). We can also expect more Flurries overnight.

Back at the Computer I’m again having problems keeping my eyes open. Wishing you all a good night.

  1. Sounds like an okay Sunday getting caught up shopping. The rain is better than snow but I'm hearing it is back home at the Ridge. Glad we're not there.

  2. Oh looks cold 🥶🥶 up that way? The weather here is supposed to cool off to the lower 80s this coming week.
Hopefully y'all will stay warm this winter ❄️❄️.
    Miss you two.
