Paying It Forward.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

Last night was another good one, so when I sleep better, so does Kathy.

The morning started out cloudy but would later show signs of the Sun trying to break through the less dense Clouds. The temperature would not get above the Freezing Mark throughout the day.

After checking the important things on our Computers, we headed out shortly after 11:00. Using Coupons, we stopped at Arby’s for an early lunch. It was funny how as we were about to leave a woman came over to give us her leftover Coupons that she won’t be using before Sunday.

The first stop was at Princess Auto to pick a few things advertised, though there was a problem. Some things were advertised in their Sale Book and others in a Sale Paper, that had different dates of validation, I had not noticed before. Just that short walk in, of course, had my Hip/Leg Screaming and it showed on my face. Asking for assistance, I somehow asked the Store Manager. When I told Kathy we’d have to come back, the Manager gave me the Sale Price ahead of the date.

It is amazing how many people notice when someone is struggling and try to help them out. That was something I have always done in the past even though others were not doing it back then. I guess you could say I was “Paying It Forward”, without realizing it.

We picked up our Mail at Guardian Storage, before going to the Zehr’s grocery store. Kathy and I got the few things on our List, giving us both exercise. Kathy went next door to the Bulk Barn, while I took our groceries to the Car, to recover from the walk.

After getting caught in Rush-Hour Traffic, we made another stop at Dollarama, where Kathy picked up what we had forgotten to get.

When we parked the Car at our building, I noticed something I never paid attention to before. Just how long the walk is from the parking lot to our Apartment.

It was after the News that we shared a Store-Bought Thin-Crust Medium Veggie Pizza for a late supper.
