Looking Out, Visit and Bad.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

This is getting to be like being on a See-Saw as far as my sleep pattern, and yet I do the same things nightly as a means of developing a healthy habit. The later time of waking in the mornings, is mostly due to the wakeful moments during the night.

I had barely gotten in the kitchen this morning when Kathy followed me. While I was bringing our Pastries out for breakfast, Kathy opened the Balcony Blinds to see a Winter Wonderland. With the low humidity and the Freezing Temperature, everything was coated with a Hoarfrost that glistened as the Sun was breaking through the Clouds.

We’d barely sat at the Computers, when it appeared that the Sun had set for the day. Instead the rising temperature was causing the Hoarfrost to create a heavy Fog that totally blocked the light.

With a delayed breakfast, came a delayed lunch, and we were still needing to use the Electrical Lights to walk around inside, due to the Fog growing in intensity.

When we left the Apartment soon after eating, the Fog appeared the same. When we walked out the back entrance, we could barely see the River, but when we looked towards our vehicles the Fog had totally dissipated.

It has been a while, mostly because of my Hip/Leg Pain, but we headed off to Tecumseh to visit with our daughter Karen’s family. It felt good just to see everyone, including Sanford, Nova and Stanley. Kylla and Tyler have both grown over the years and are working on their future careers. We got hugs as we were leaving, but poor Sanford looked dejected that he was not included.

We used Coupons that we got in the Mail the other day and went to Taco Bell. It has been a long while, so after ordering our meal, I did something Bad. I ordered us each their Delicious Cinnamon Delights. Kathy said I could have just ordered more of those, instead of the meal.

Watched an interesting documentary about how important Whales are to our environment. They can actually be part of the solution to Global Warming. Too bad, more of us were not as concerned when the “Save the Whales” protests were taking place back in the mid Seventies.

More to do tomorrow.

Words of Inspiration

If you would be a real seeker after truth, it is necessary that at least once in your life you doubt, as far as possible, all things.”

  1. Haven't been to Taco Bell in years, but it used to be my favorite fast food ever! Nice you had a good visit!
