Patients Having Patience.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

Sleeping last night was not too bad, but we had to get up as early as possible to start our day. That proved to be a bit challenging when trying to wake Kathy, by simply opening the Blinds in the bedroom. I dressed and opened the Balcony Blinds to let in more beautiful Sunshine. Kathy had pulled the Bedcovers over her head and had quite a grip on them. Bit by bit I finally had her up. We only took our morning pills, before heading out the door.

Kathy’s new Rheumatologist wanted her to get some Blood Tests, so we went to Dyna-Care. Do you know why doctors refer to people they see as Patients? That’s because you have to have a lot of Patience to get all these tests done. We arrived at 8:45 and finally walked out at 11:10, after Kathy had Four Vials of Blood drawn.

Luckily McDonald’s wasn’t too far away for a quick and filling breakfast.

We stopped at VitalAire Three Weeks ago to order some CPAP supplies. Today we found that Taira has been on vacation for Two Weeks, but our supplies are on Backorder. We’ll check back next week.

Since the Canadian Blood Services shut the local Blood Donor Clinic back in July, I’ve not been able to make any donations. We stopped at the new Plasma Donor Clinic, where I was able to make an appointment for the 19th.

At Guardian Storage, Kathy went in to collect our Mail. I topped off the Car at the Pioneer gas station, before we went to Dollarama and Bulk Barn to get a few extra supplies.

We were at our Computers, when the Rheumatologist’s Office called for Kathy to get a Chest X-Ray. Since it was nearly 5:00, guess where we will be going tomorrow.

We shared a very tasty Medium Store-Bought Thin-Crust Barbecue Chicken Pizza for supper.

For the second day in a row, we broke an old record and reached a high of 61 F (16 C). Tomorrow we’ll be cooling down to Seasonal Temperatures.

  1. Those doctors sure can keep you busy with tests in order to determine whats wrong and hopefully Kathy will get help for her condition.
