Extra Bacon and Bone On Bone.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

It was back to an up and down night, but Kathy managed to get some sleep, how I don’t know.

It was really different walking into the living room this morning, to find it well lit from the Sunlight that was seeping around and under the Balcony Blind. There wasn’t a cloud in sight but looking at the 28 F (-2 C) temperature made me happy to be inside at that moment.

For lunch I added Extra Bacon to the Leftover Stir Fry, creating an over the top Bacon/Veggie Wrap. Kathy gave us each a serving of Pineapple for dessert.

We worked together making a Shopping List that should hold us past the weekend. We headed out into 45 F (7 C) temperatures with very little wind.

Though we had to wait a bit, I had the chance to talk with Richard at Wyandotte Chiropractic Center. He explained that the more I keep up the strength in my leg before the surgery, the easier it will be to recover afterwards. He also mentioned, is that my Hip is rubbing Bone on Bone and that’s why there is no relief to the Pain. When I mentioned the change to another Surgeon, he recommended calling to push things along, without making a pest of myself. It was rough waddling in but I practically walked out, barely needing the Cane.

Kathy had been reading her latest mystery novel in the Car. From experience we headed to Arby’s for supper, before going shopping. The young person taking our order was amazed how by changing specifics, we got much more to it than the Coupon showed.

From there we stopped at the Tecumseh Mall, where we went to the Showcase outlet. The Arthritic Support Gloves we ordered for Kathy had come in. With just the right amount of pressure, they take away most of her Pain.

We stopped at Dollarama, before going to the Zehr’s grocery store. We had planned on stopping at Bulk Barn, but forgot their Coupons at home. A good reason to go for a ride on another day.

Not only did we fill our Two Wheeled Shopping Cart, but we were both carrying a Shopping Bag each, from the Car to the Apartment. We barely finished putting everything away, when the 6 o’clock Local News started. No News was good news.

We’ll be out again tomorrow.

  2. Bone on bone sure is a nightmare. I was in that state before my knee surgery. You certainly have my sympathy. I hope you get some good news soon.
