The Same Storm.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

It felt wonderful catching up on my sleep, which was a problem that I didn’t have to worry about when I was retired. When I saw the time on the Clock I was slightly confused at how dark it was outside, so I thought I would investigate.

I’d barely peeked out the Balcony Blinds when Kathy came rushing out of the bedroom. It seems that we miss one another so much during the week, that she doesn’t want to miss a minute together on the weekends.

You can see the wet reflection on the streets.

We stared out at the intense Rain that was coming down. This was part of the storm system that spawned a number of Deadly Tornadoes over the last few days. At least we were not seeing the destruction that those Southern States witnessed.

We kept breakfast lite, by eating leftover Pastries, then taking out Coffees over to the Computers. We see a number of our RV Friends have, are, or are about to be starting their treks back home.

As we were reading without any visual signs there was loud rolling Thunder that had Kathy ready to run for cover a few times. Immediately looking at the Radar, the main part of the Storm was over Detroit, less than a Mile away.

I’ve have been enjoying cooking on the weekends so when it came to having lunch the first thing I did was to look inside the Fridge. We had Eggs and we had some Leftover Stir-Fry, along with Shredded Mozzarella Cheese. That was everything I needed to make a Veggie Omelette to share. Kathy figured that would be our big meal for the day and added dessert. We shared a Pear and a small piece of Chocolate Cake.

Looking outside throughout the day the Rain would stop for brief moments then come back with a fury.

We waited until the 6 o’clock Local News was finished before sharing a Store-Bought Medium Thin Crust Barbecued Chicken Pizza. It was tasty but a bit too Spicy for Kathy.

We’ll be going out for a while tomorrow and it won’t just be errands.

Words of Inspiration

Don’t go around saying the world owes you a living. The world owes you nothing. It was here first.
