Rested, Exercised, Visited and Delivered.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

Since I have to work tomorrow, there was no way to sleep late Two Days in a row, otherwise I would have a problem sleeping tonight. So that wouldn’t happen I set the Alarm a couple hours later than normal for this morning, but it was perfect. I managed to wake minutes before the Alarm was set to go off.

After Pastry for breakfast and I was soon out the door. We have had colder nights than this and yet I did not need to scrape the Frost off the Windshield before leaving. Unlike the Truck the Car does not have a Remote Start, so the entire thing had to be scraped by hand.

My destination was Planet Fitness to exercise. With our early, busy Saturday last weekend I was so sleep deprived, I didn’t have the necessary energy needed to work out. What that added up to was the return of body Aches and Pains that I would rather live without. Surprisingly, when I first arrived there were only maybe Ten People there, but by the time I was heading out the door there were easily Fifty exercising.

I surprised Kathy when I walked into the Apartment, having stopped at Wendy’s to pick up breakfast, but we called it Brunch.

We spent the morning on the Computers getting caught up on our RV Blogger Friends. With the long Hours I work I have a tendency to fall behind. Some have unexpected delays in their travels, but at least they are safe.

We had Italian Wedding Soup for a very late lunch with a Mandarin Orange and a piece of Chocolate Cake, around 2:30. When we finished, we headed out the door.

With the strange weather we were getting, we were keeping ourselves locked away at home. Only recently have we been able to start visiting with some Family and Friends. Others we were worried, would start thinking they had been abandoned, which was not the case.

Today we headed off unannounced to Tecumseh to visit with daughter Karen and her family. We were equally surprised to find Karen and Sanford home alone. Greg was off helping a friendwork on his Motorcycle, Kylla was off for a weekend in Texas, while Tyler and his girlfriend Jess had gone visiting for the day. We still had an enjoyable visit talking about all kinds of things. Even though we were invited to stay for supper, which had not been our Plan, we left around 5:00.

We stopped at Dollarama to pick up a few supplies, before heading over to Arby’s to purchase our meal using a Coupon.

It was nearly 6:30 when we headed back home. We simply stopped to pick up the Truck. Kathy followed in the Car until we reached Windsor Gas and Diesel. Jim will service and repair the Car tomorrow so I won’t worry so much about Kathy’s safety.

We headed to the Expressway in hopes of the Truck going into Regen mode. It wasn’t until we reached our turn around point that I remembered doing that on my way home on Friday. The Truck did not need this run. It was past 7:30 when we got home.

Hopefully, tomorrow will be a good day.

Krackers

You know you’re getting old when you can't remember the last time you laid on the floor to watch television.

  1. Your chocolate cake looks scrumptious! It seems like you spent your time well and got a lot done.

Arby's opened their first franchise here two months ago but we have yet to pay them a visit. Maybe we will soon.
