Hot Day For Running Around.

Our Location today is at Windsor, Ontario.

After washing my Coveralls numerous times in the Pail in the Bathtub last night I was happy with the results of the Rinse this morning. When I brought them down to the Laundry Room there was no doubt I’d be proud of the result but I wasn’t. When I opened the Washer after the Final Spin Cycle I found the Coveralls sitting in Four Inches of Water. I wrung them out as best I could by hand. Having left all my change in the Apartment I could only hope they would start to dry while hanging in the Bathtub.

It didn't look promising for most of the day.

We were out the door by 11:30 and it wasn’t until we were blocks away that our Camera’s absence was noticed. The perfect day to take pictures and we blew it.

With our Voter Cards and Personal ID we went to the Advanced Polling Station. By taking advantage of the early voting we would not be scrambling on Election Day in Nine Days. We seemed to have gotten in just in time because as we were leaving there were a Dozen Masked Socially Distanced People waiting to do the same.

It was nearly 12:30 when we arrived at Wendy’s Drive-Thru where we ordered their Chicken Wraps, Small Chocolate Frosties and Seniors Soft Drinks for our lunch.

We stopped at our Climate Controlled Storage Unit to drop off a container of Clothes Hangers from clothes that Kathy has donated to the Goodwill.

We stopped at The Home Depot before going to Lowe’s in search of a replacement Fan for Kathy’s little Desk Fan stopped working after Six Years of keeping her comfortable.

We then headed to Dollarama to start getting the Food Stocks that were written on our Shopping List. The amount we spend there is always how much we save if we had gotten it at the grocery store. Last Week they were completely out of Disposable Masks but were fully stocked today.

After parking closer to the grocery store we decided to check out the Dollar Tree. It’s been Nineteen Months since we were there. It was their Disposable Masks that got us through the early days of the Coronavirus and today they had none.

Going to the Bulk Barn we even cut back on the amounts of Healthy Snacks we picked up. Just because they are health too many can still put the weight on.

At the Zehr’s grocery store it was packed but everyone wore their Masks and Social Distanced. After getting the remaining Food Stocks on our Shopping List we were on our way home in less then an Hour.

Luckily there were Shopping Carts downstairs that we used to haul everything up to the Apartment. Once all the groceries were put away we worked together to make supper. I fried the Bacon while Kathy modified a Ranch Salad as well as making the rest of the Toasted Bacon and Tomato Sandwiches.

After cleaning up the Dishes I brought the Coveralls back to the Laundry Room. Using a different Washer they came out dryer then when I brought them in.

The 6 o’clock Local News covered a number of issues including Provincial Coronavirus Numbers but nothing for the Windsor/Essex Region.

The Weather Network showed our Humidex only felt like 97 F (36 C) this afternoon. The moment you stepped outside you could feel the warmth but it wasn’t as stifling as it was last week.

We have an appointment to meet up with Nancy tomorrow so I won’t be working over.
