Busy Rest Day.

Our Location today is at Windsor, Ontario.

Having managed to be in bed shortly after 11:00 last night I was quite surprised how late I slept until this morning. It felt good to sleep in as a fact I just lay there watching Kathy sleep for a while.

When it came time for breakfast we both had something we normally don’t have during the week before taking our morning Coffee/Tea to the Computers. After checking all my Messages, Local News and Weather I finally started getting caught up on Blogs we follow. Unfortunately by the time of this writing I still did not get them all read.

Before getting too caught up in the reading I brought my Coveralls down to the Laundry Room. This process of washing them in the Pail before putting them in the Washer has helped to get more of the grime out. Once they were in the Machine I had to rinse the dirt out of the Pail. When I removed them from the Washer I cleaned the tub multiple times. Today there was a lot out particles of Rusted Metal from yesterday’s job. It was surprising not to see anyone else doing their washing.

Having lunch after 1:00 we simply had a bowl of Chicken and Rice Soup along with a Carrot Cake Cupcake for dessert that Kathy baked earlier this week. As soon as we were finished eating we headed out the door.

We checked our Mail at Guardian Storage but didn’t go to the Storage Unit.

With the rising costs of Gasoline the Car still needed to be filled.

Our next stop was Dollarama where we started getting the Food Stocks that were written on our very short List. They were so busy they had Three Cashiers working non-stop the entire time we were in the store.

Our next stop was the Zehr’s grocery store where we picked up Produce, Frozen Foods and Meats that the other store didn’t carry.

After getting everything put away in the Apartment we had a Store Bought Thin Crust Vegetarian Pizza for supper and finished just on time for the News.

The 6 o’clock Local News was not pre-empted by a Golf Tournament today but due to the Long Weekend we won’t get any Coronavirus Numbers until Tuesday.

The Weather Network showed we had a Humidex of 86 F (30 C) this afternoon.

Since the Laundry Rooms were empty earlier and we had Two Weeks of clothes to wash I separated and pretreated it before heading down. Still nobody else there so it worked perfect. I was back in the Apartment with all the Clothes folded shortly after 10:30. That will be a lot less I have to do tomorrow.
