Foggy Windows, High Test, Using Leftovers and Uvalde.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

When the Alarm went off at 5:00 I had no problem heading out the door but once I left the building the Humidity was so heavy it felt like someone jumped on my back.

At Planet Fitness I was surprised to see how few cars were in the parking lot. By the time I changed and got back out on the floor there were less then Ten People exercising. Even though it was a Sunday the place is normally a lot busier.

The Air Conditioner was running full blast so you had to keep working out just so you wouldn’t freeze. Another thing that was noticeable was that the Windows were so fogged up you could not see outside due to the High Humidity hitting the cold Windows.

By the time I got back to the Apartment Kathy had already been on the Balcony to water her plants and could not get back inside fast enough. I would later join her by bringing a Regular Black Coffee to help keep myself awake. I’ve noticed that if I am not busy and have gotten up early the only thing that keeps me awake is the Caffeine and most times like today One Coffee is not enough. I teasingly refer to them as High Test in comparison to the Decaffeinated Coffees.

Throughout the day there would be plenty of Job Ads to review with most being outside the general area, some outside the Province and others being outside the Country.

Using up the Leftover Stir-Fry along with Cheddar Cheese I made an Omelette for our lunch. Kathy served Date Squares and Bing Cherries for our dessert.

If you put your hand near the Balcony Door you could feel the heat radiating through. The Weather Network would later show our Humidex felt like 111 F (44 C). It should cool down after tomorrow.

With our activity level being low today we simply had a Caesars Salad for supper and the only thing I added was some Shredded Mozzarella Cheese.

We later watched a special on “The Uvalde School Shooting”.

There can be as much value in the blink of an eye as in months of rational analysis.

  1. I admire how you can get up so early to go exercise...I do not have that kind of "willpower".
