Clouded Vision, Birthday Celebration and Seniors Discounts.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

It was another day of learning new things about the Plasma Transfer Arc Welding process. Having gotten to bed later then I wanted last night I seemed to be having a problem doing the simple things I was doing yesterday. It was like my vision was clouded. In the end Alec and I completed the one Feedscrew and after adding all the numbers into the Computer started another.

I only had a single repair to do that took Five Minutes to set up, Five Minutes to wrap up and Thirty Seconds to actually do the welding. It then took the Machinist a Minute to have a perfect finish to the job.

Instead of taking the Parkway home due to the construction I headed up Walker Road to the Expressway before stopping at the Motor City Community Credit Union to deposit my Pay-Cheque.

It was nearly 4:30 when I walked in the Apartment and headed straight to the shower. By 4:50 we were heading out the door.

Our first stop was Wendy’s where we had our Grilled Chicken Wraps and Seniors Soft Drinks for our supper.

By 5:10 we were headed for the Expressway. Our destination was our son Kevin and daughter-in-law Melissa’s house in Amherstburg.

We arrived by 6:00 for a long overdue visit along with helping Kevin celebrate his Birthday a day early. Melissa made certain there were plenty of finger snacks along with Cake. We had plenty to talk about. They gave us pointers on our new phones and wanted to know more about my new job. They also agreed they would never work for Paul again. The time flew by too fast and we left around 8:30.

Since I was hoping to take advantage of the Senior’s Discount given every Thursday at Shoppers Drug Mart we stopped at their local outlet. The discount always comes off the Sub-Total before Taxes so we saved Seventy Dollars tonight.

Neighbourhood Rabbit.

It was starting to Rain when we got back to the Apartment. I’m hoping to get to bed earlier.

I’m thankful that Kathy does run a lot of errands while I’m at work but some that overwhelm her are better left for me to do.

What does an air conditioner have in common with a computer?

They both lose efficiency as soon as you open windows.

  1. Glad you were able to celebrate Kevin's birthday and visit with the family. You saved a good amount with your senior discount at the Shoppers Drug Mart.
