Imagine, Stolen Cell Phone and The Rains Came.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

Just imagine having a day off but still getting up at the same time you would when going to work. After having a restless night’s sleep that’s exactly what I did. I needed to get things sorted and treated for our big chore of the day.

Just imagine having a restless night’s sleep and you are finally into a deep sleep when your husband tells you it’s time to go. As much as we both wanted to stay in bed longer we knew we had to get moving.

I had the Car loaded by the time Kathy had her snack and was ready to go. Being this was a Saturday we expected lots of daily workers thinking the same way and we weren’t too far off.

We beat the Sun.

We arrived at the Super Clean Laundromat at 7:38. There were already Three other people doing their washing but not to the extent we do.

While waiting for the Washers to do their magic and Kathy was reading I went through her new Cell Phone deleting Sixty Numbers that had been added to her Contact List when Jordan the Sales Representative wirelessly transferred the list from Kathy’s old phone. There were all kinds of Businesses along with people we didn’t know that were removed.

It took Five Minutes just to enter One Number so we’ll see if they can transfer the numbers from my Phone to Kathy’s since the Contact Lists were the same before.

Everything was going well and the Dryers worked perfectly the only problem was the lack of space to fold everything at the same time as others. My solution was after all the Towels and Linens were folded I took the Basket out to the Car.

As I was returning the Laundromat Attendant who had been outside cleaning the windows saw someone she called a Crackhead that seemed to unravel her. A quick glance at the Wild Eyed, Red Boxer Shorts wearing Roller Blader told me she was right. She headed in the door without realizing her mistake until it was too late. She had forgotten her Cell Phone on the Outside Bench that he instantly scooped up before disappearing around the corner. She was out the door looking but he was nowhere in sight.

Her mind was racing because that number is her Daughter’s Life Line due to a medical condition. The Police were called and the Laundromat Owner came out to relieve her.

After everything was folded we drove over to McDonald’s where we had our Breakfast.

With some shopping to do we had to drive by the Laundromat where we spotted Two Police Cruisers. We’ll find out what happened the next time we go in.

We made quick stops at Dollarama then the Zehr’s grocery store where we did a good job of getting everything on our Shopping List that we had forgotten at home.

At our building I parked the Car near the rear exit so I could get the Purchases and Laundry up to our Apartment before moving it to its designated spot.

It took time before we got everything put away so we could sit at our Computers. Even though it was past noon we were not hungry. We kept getting up to walk around to stay awake but we both ended up taking Snaps.

We used Leftover Stir-Fry to make Veggie Wraps for supper along with Mini-Donuts and Pineapple for dessert. Even thought we had been hearing the distant rumblings around 6:30 the Rain came down quite steady for a while.

The Weather Network showed our Humidex felt like 93 F (34 C) this afternoon.

Crooked Lines or Rain on the Window?

This evening we watched a Murder Mystery on the Kitchener/Waterloo channel.

We’ll find something interesting to do tomorrow.
