Getting Caught Up.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

The Extra Strength Tylenol help us both to sleep better even though we still kept waking throughout the night. A least with its help we’d fall back to sleep.

Kathy has definitely gotten used to my being home again as I had barely started getting things ready for breakfast when she joined me this morning.

We were on our Computers just long enough to drink our Coffee/Tea before I started setting up our Epson Salts Foot Bath. Even though it had been just over a week ago that Mary from Healthy Heals had worked on Kathy’s feet she was having a problem that needed addressing. After getting all her personal foot care tools ready while she soaked her feet it only took scraping under the nail to relieve the pain. Better being prepared then not.

Already selling Lawn Mowers.
Tonight's forecast is for Snow.

We were out the door by 10:30 with a list of places to go with the first being the nearby Home Hardware. We had arrived last night just after they had closed so we didn’t have to worry today. We needed to replace a Food Storage Container we have that wasn’t doing its job. Going to aisle Three there were exactly Two Rubbermaid Stackable Containers in the size we needed. We found that they were the perfect fit while we were Fulltiming. The container that failed had been a carryover from our Avalanche days. In less then Five Minutes of our arrival we were heading back to the car.

Since it was past 11:30 with more errands to run we headed to the Taco Bell Drive-Thru to beat the lunch time rush. Using a Coupon helped keep our costs down. We each enjoyed a Dorito Taco, a Beef Burrito and a Soft Drink. Filling but better then having French Fries.

Our next stop was back to Guardian Storage. After I collected our Mail I insisted they verify our Banking Information so there would be no unpaid fees in the future.

As luck would have it we received another T4 Slip for our Income Tax Return and the Refund Cheque from Green Shield. With that in hand we headed back to Motor City Community Credit Union. By cashing it Kathy will have the money to pay Mary the next time she comes to work on her feet.

We then headed over to Canadian Tire. Last night we had been searching for the Food Container only so when I saw the Locking Pliers I had stolen last year “On Sale” I didn’t think to grab them. When I went to get them today the Sale Price Tag was no longer there. I tracked down a store employee to have him scan them. He told me they were still “On Sale” until the close of business today but being that the store was presently short of staff the Sale Prices were being removed a day early. At Half Price that was worth my asking.

We were finally heading for home when we realized we had forgotten to go to Dollarama. We returned to the outlet closest our location. Besides what we wanted I found Shoelaces for my Workboots. As a welder Shoelaces get destroyed often from the sparks.

We would spend the rest of the afternoon reading Blogs and checking Job Ads on our Computers.

For supper we had a Store Bought Medium Thin Crust Vegetarian Pizza.

The 6 o’clock Local News reported 2 more Coronavirus Deaths and 10 Active Cases for the Windsor/Essex Region.

The Weather Network showed we reached a high temperature of 39 F (4 C) today but the weather might be disappointing for the next few days.

This was a day for getting caught up on a lot of things.
