Survived The Night, Healthy Heals and More Flurries On The Way.

Our Location today is at Windsor, Ontario.

Making certain that the Bed Cover would not find its way to the floor last night helped us sleep comfortably through the coldest night this area has seen this season. Double checking The Weather Network this morning it showed we hit a low of -6 F (-21 C) but felt more like -13 F (-25 C).

If you enlarge the picture you can see the Sxxw
piled near the base of the trees above the railing.

We were both up before 8:30 this morning and enjoyed seeing the Sun shining through the Balcony Doors. The Plows had been down the side streets overnight as well as the Ganatchio Trail. Since the streets ends at a turn around the Plows created a Four Foot High Wall.

There were no job postings again today but there were a lot of freshly written Blogs to read. Unfortunately we didn’t have a lot of time to spend on the Computers this morning.

After finishing our normal chores we needed to move things from the Livingroom before making an early lunch. Today we had Grilled Cheese Sandwiches with Olives for garnishing then an Apple Sauce Cup with a Croissant for dessert before cleaning up the Dishes.

We actually had a chance to sit at our Computers for a few minutes before Mary from Healthy Heals arrived to take care of Kathy’s foot care. She has become a friend over the years so when she related the loss of her mother just before Christmas we were able to give our condolences to her. At 93 she was fortunate that it was not from the Coronavirus but with the Lock-Down taking place the Family was not able to see her off the way they would have liked.

For supper we looked at what was in the fridge and found some Spaghetti Sauce that we didn’t want to go bad so we had Spaghetti with Sauce topped with Shredded Cheese along with a Chocolate Pudding Cup for dessert. I cooked too much Spaghetti and we both felt stuffed.

On the 6 o’clock Local News they reported 76 New Coronavirus Cases but that was counting 33 Cases from yesterday that went uncounted. There were no Deaths to report on either day. Our high temperature for today was 18 F (-8 C) and we should wake to another couple of inches of accumulation by morning.

We later watched Nancy Drew this evening.

  3. Our counts here are decreasing also. This is a good thing, a real good thing.

  4. Kathy must be so happy that Mary is now able to resume her foot care. I have always frozen leftover pasta as it warms up in minutes when taken from the freezer and the consistency and taste is the same as freshly cooked.
