Cold Night, Timeline and Facebook Birthday Gathering.

Our Location today is at Windsor, Ontario.

Other then waking a couple times because I was cold it was a restful night. I even fell back to sleep after slowly pulling my share of the bedding out of Kathy’s grip after she gathered them in her sleep to snuggle. That’s what she does when she is cold because she snuggles all the bed sheets.

It was just past 8:00 when I got up this morning. Opening the Balcony Blinds added only a little more light to the room. Looking down at our vehicles they appeared to have a grey tone to them. A closer concentrated look revealed we were having very fine Flurries that continued throughout the day.

There was no Sum outside.

Kathy joined me by 8:30 wearing her housecoat because she was cold. ??? She can only apologize when I tell her so was I. Her answer is she doesn’t know what she’s doing in her sleep.

At the Computers I managed to apply for Three Jobs in my trade this morning before starting to read the Blogs we follow. Reading Comments on our Blog I also smile when pictures of our meals or Kathy’s baking inspires others on what to make.

For lunch we had Chicken and Rice Soup along with the last of the Strawberry/Rhubarb Pie for dessert.

We again watched the Impeachment throughout the afternoon. Today it was the Impeachment Managers building their case starting with what they called “The Big Lie”. The built the Timeline when it started last year all the way through to the Rally just before the Insurrection itself. Then they played never before seen videos and explained just how close members of the Senate and House had come to being caught by the mob.

Our high for the day.

They broke for dinner just before our 6 o’clock Local News came on. On our News we learn of 26 New Coronavirus Cases along with 3 more Deaths bring the total to 348 for the Windsor/Essex region. The Government is still having troubles getting the Vaccine yet other countries have been able to double what they are getting from the suppliers. Our temperature will continue to stay below seasonal for a while longer.

We ate our supper while listening to our News. Kathy served the Pepper Steak over Egg Noodles. By not wasting the Juice she basically created a Hearty Soup that she added Shredded Mozzarella Cheese on top.

When we turned back to the Impeachment the Commentator was talking that while the Senators are supposed to be taking their roles as Jurors seriously Senator Dr, Rand Paul was busy Tweeting about the importance of Breast Milk. Looks like he’s taking his role seriously.

At 7:30 we participated in Facebook Birthday Gathering for our grandson Cameron who turned 21 today. His Cousins, Aunts and Uncle also participated along with his Parents.

Looking outside our Vehicles are again White and the Impeachment will continue tomorrow.

Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Everyone is entitled to their opinion unless it personally attacks someone for their comment or is Spam.

Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

Krackers

What did the grape say when it got stepped on?

Nothing, it just gave a little whine.

  1. Isn't it shocking how quickly time seems to fly by. Your grandson Cameron is now a young man and already 21 years old. Normally this birthday would be a big celebration. All the best to him.
Wasn't that a great day yesterday here in southern Ontario? We got up to +2C with melting snow. However this morning a slight dusting of snow again. Oh well...

  2. Looking at your first picture makes me feel colder than I already am. Our artic front arrived, it is raining (much needed) and we have strong wind gusts.

In Texas, we are not used to these harsh weather conditions. This morning there was a 75 vehicle pile-up in the Dallas/Fort Worth area with up to now 3 confirmed deaths.

Happy belated birthday to your grandson Cameron.

  3. Sure are having a cold snap all the way down to Illinois. Be glad when it breaks. Keep the trial going the right way. Not sure how it will end.
