Overnight Flurries, Job Applications and Visiting.

Our Location today is at Windsor, Ontario.

It felt so good to be toasty warm in bed and all it took was to leave the Bedcover on for the night. Even Kathy didn’t spend that much time uncovered either. The little extra weight of the Bedcover itself was like we were being caressed in the bed itself.

When I got up it was surprising how bright it was in the Livingroom. When I opened the Balcony Blinds the bright Sunshine wasn’t the only thing that caught my attention. There were an additional Two Inches of fresh White Accumulation covering the Vehicles and the surrounding landscape.

After finishing Breakfast I managed to apply for Two newly posted jobs. The first being in my Trade while the other was for custom Wiring specifically to vehicles. Anyone that has seen what I have accomplished on our Truck or on our Trailer will know that I enjoy doing those kind of things.

For lunch we kept it simple by having Chicken with Rice Soup along with a Croissant, a Yogurt Cup and a shared Apple for dessert.

Shortly after getting back to the Computers we noticed the Sun had disappeared and the sky had filled Clouds. Even though the temperature had reached a balmy 27 F (-3 C) according to The Weather Network we were forecasted to have more Flurries.

We watched a few episodes of Law and Order that we missed years ago. We had Sauteed Chicken with Rice and Corn as sides for supper then we topped it off with a Chocolate Pudding Cup for dessert.

We headed out the door by 6:00 and were soon on our way. Our destination was to visit with our daughter-in-law Jen and family in Essex. Of course every Traffic Light we approached turned red adding an extra Ten Minutes to the trip. Since she’s been working at home for years we knew we’d be safe. We went bearing gifts that we knew Jen could make use of that Kathy found in the Boxes and Bins from our Storage Unit. We also had the chance to find out how Connor and Haigan are doing in School since they just returned to In-Person Classes just this past week. We got our Hugs and said our good-byes after visiting for nearly Two Hours.

Back at the Apartment we managed to watch the 11 o’clock Local News. We learned of 23 New Coronavirus Cases with 4 more Deaths bringing the Total Deaths to 368 for the region. Restaurants have been allowed to open but with a maximum number of people allowed at the same time. Canada is still struggling to get enough Vaccinations for those who want it.

We might be busy outside tomorrow.

  1. Glad you were able to visit with your family and at the same time pass down some items that they could make good use of.

If I had opened the window and seen fresh two inches of snow...I would have CRIED!!! After the horrible week we have had in Texas I do not want to see another snowflake for as long as I live!

  2. It is so unsetting that kids are not in school. Some do well at home, some don't. Nice that your grandkids are back.
