Who Measures This Stuff?

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

It was a better night last night and we both woke up feeling rested this morning.

As soon as we looked out the Balcony Door, we knew that this could turn into a stay-at-home day. Everything had a dusty white look, that started to reshape the landscape and blur the skyline. The forecast had been for 5-10 cm (2-4 inches) so we knew in an emergency we could still get around.

It was past 4:30 when the Flurries finally ended and immediately you could see accumulation on some of the vehicles starting to slide away, but not on our’s. With a morning errand to run, I didn’t want it to freeze solid. Dawning my Parka it took nearly Twenty Minutes to clean the Six Inches off the Car and Truck.

I’ve often mentioned how storms normally split and go around Essex County, however sometimes it doesn’t. This evening, I was reading Travel with the Bayfield Bunch, and Al was mentioning how they only got a Couple of Inches. Being further North and a Mile from the shores of Lake Huron, they are normally hit with more Lake Effect Storms. Just makes you wonder “Who measures this stuff?”

We enjoyed Veggie Wraps for supper, before watching the 6 o’clock Local News. They forecasted more White Flurries this evening.

We watched a couple of Hallmark Movies this evening. When I peeked out the window the cars in the lot were bare. Shhhh
