There was no hesitation about taking the old Nighttime Mickey combination last night and it worked perfectly. I was sitting at my Computer, wide awake before 8:00 this morning after getting things ready for breakfast, Cookies and Coffee.
With an increase of Clouds in the sky we spent most of the morning getting caught up on our Blog reading, before getting ready to go out. As soon as we passed the rear corner of the building the Wind made us wish that we were wearing our Winter Coats.
Since everyone enjoys being Irish for a day, we headed over to Arby’s where we indulged ourselves by having their Reuben Sandwiches for St. Patrick’s Day. They taste wonderful, are made with Corned Beef with Sauerkraut (Pickled Cabbage) and are more affordable than if we’d gotten all the ingredients to cook at home. While we were there, we enjoyed some private conversations.
When it was time to leave, I was reminded that the Cold seems to magnify my Hip/Leg Pain to levels that I can barely stand, let alone walk. Kathy would not do any walking exercise while I would stay in the Car, but she did let me drop her at the front entrance of our building while I parked the Car. It did take a little longer to walk in, but I made it. Though I read all the Blogs we follow today, I wasn’t in the mood to comment. Sorry, maybe tomorrow.
More time was spent researching before making supper. We had Veggie Wraps with Ham, that tasted wonderful and were very satisfying.
We finished our evening watching another Harry Potter movie.

Any word on the hip surgery?
ReplyDeleteSure is taking a long time.
Them Reuben sandwich sure sounds good.
Your hip/leg pains would probably be less in a warmer climate, i.e. Florida or such. Hopefully Ontario warms up soon!
