Who Do You Call?

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

I only woke twice through the night, after taking my full Nighttime Micky before going to bed. It’s the only way the Hip/Leg Pain doesn’t keep waking me, every time I move.

There wasn’t much to see outside this morning except a sky totally filled with Clouds. The forecast had shown we were in for an All-Day Rain, so we were surprised to see dry pavement in the parking lot. When I checked the Radar, it showed the Storm from the Southwest, splitting as it crossed the surrounding waters, making most of the Storm go around us.

After briefly checking things on our Computers we were out the door shortly after 11:00. When we walked out the back entrance to the building, the 30 MPH Northern Wind Gusts pushed us to our Car as if we were trotting. It actually felt like my feet left the ground a few times. We must have had Rain overnight, because there were Six Droplets on the Windshield.

We stopped at Arby’s to have a very early lunch. Of course we used a Coupon to cut our costs and it was worth it.

From there we headed over to the Devonshire Mall Cineplex. With Tuesday being Senior Day, the doors opened before noon, there were less people there and it costs less. The fact that the last time we saw a Movie on the Big Screen was in Parker Arizona in early 2019, also had us wanting to get out. Though we both like Mysteries, today we were looking for Comedic Relief. When that happens we all know, “Who do you call?” There were a lot of new characters but also a lot of original actors from the first Ghost Busters that was made Forty Years ago. Even though we were seated in Recliner Chairs we still moved to the edge of our seats a few times. We enjoyed it and hope to do this more often.

I dropped Kathy off at the front entrance to our building before parking the Car. Walking to the rear entrance I was surprised that the Wind was blowing from the opposite direction then earlier and was again pushing me up the hill to the door.

It was past 5:30 when we sat down to have Grilled Ham, Sauteed Sweet Potatoes and Brussels Sprouts as a side, with Carbonated Juice (Fake Wine) as a refreshment.

We were shocked to watch our 6 o’clock Local News showing the disastrous collision of a Cargo Ship destroying a Bridge in Baltimore, Maryland. The Rescue Operation was later halted and will continue as a Recovery in the morning. The crew on the Ship all miraculously survived but the missing were on the Bridge.

We’ll be busy tomorrow.

  1. The bridge that was destroyed was in Baltimore, not Philadelphia.
