Very Short Naps and Scratching Off.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

The mystery continues after another night of little sleep. I used the usual Nighttime Mickey but finally headed to my Recliner around 3:00 only to go back to bed around 6:00. My night consisted of Very Short Naps. I’d fall asleep only to instantly wake. It’s always a guessing game.

We spent the morning at the Computers before having Macaroni and Cheese for our lunch. We knew that we were going out for supper, so we kept it Lite.

Many who were brought up in the Christian Faith always avoided eating any kind of Meat on Good Friday but were allowed to have Fish. While reading the latest Newsletter from the 594 Legion, they mentioned requiring reservations for Tonight’s Meal. After verifying Kathy would like to go there, I called. The woman barely took my Name, Time of seating (One Hour Blocks) and Number attending, before saying the “Phones just keep ringing” and hanging up on me.

You all know that Kathy and I prefer to be early, rather than late, so we were there Twenty Minutes ahead of time. Strangely there was a table in the foyer, where they were verifying Who we were, Number attending and our Time. Being a Group of Two made it so we could be seated and served early. There were Extra Servers along with others to move things faster. There were tables of Thirty filled with at least Three Generations celebrating together.

By the time Servers took our order, they were starting to Scratch Off some of the Menu Items and were limited to French-Fries or French-Fries. Though they had calculated according to the Reservations, some brought in extra guests. We were happy to leave with full tummies after having supported our Local Veterans Association.

We had Planned, (Should never do that,) to get a couple things at the grocery store on the way home, but the few businesses that did open today, had closed while we were having supper. We’ll make a run for it tomorrow, when they’ll be open again.

We watched a couple of Hallmark Movies to close out our day.
