Rheumatologist, Errands and Colder Temps.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

It was another night that I kept waking just to fall back to sleep, because of my Hip/Leg Pain. That meant we slept a little later then we wanted, so we stopped at McDonald’s for Bacon/Eggers and Coffee, for breakfast.

The appointment was with Kathy’s new Rheumatologist. He seemed preoccupied the first time we met, but was more relaxed today. He reviewed the Test Results and explained what the Medications he was about to prescribe, should do. It was a more upbeat appointment.

It was nearly noon but we headed across town on the Expressway to Vital-Aire. We had been waiting for CPAP Supplies, but had not been called to pick them up. When we asked why, we were told One Item was on Backorder. We walked out with the rest of our Supplies. That was Stupid.

With the mild weather our area has seen this Winter, there has been an early start to the Construction Season. There are already Detours everywhere.

After checking for Mail at Guardian Storage and adding mileage, we stopped at Health First Pharmacy. Because this was a new medication for Kathy, the Pharmacist reviewed it with us, making certain we understood to take it only Once a Week.

We were starting to feel hungry by that time, so we stopped at Pita Pit for their $7.00 Special of the Day. With our choice of additional veggies, it is always a healthy fast food alternative.

The New Management Company of our building is getting to be a PITA. Every Year they want a fresh copy of our Apartment Insurance. Even though we had copies dating back to when we moved in, they wanted a copy of the one that won’t be Mailed to us until next month. The Insurance Co. had no problem E-mailing me a copy, but then our Printer started causing problems. After cleaning the Print Heads it sent a message to wait 24 Hours after the cleaning before printing anything. I’ll be calling that company.

The Near-Summer Temperatures we had last week, have changed to Near Winter with lots of Rain in our forecast. Today we only reached 46 F (8 C).

Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment, unless it personally attacks someone for their opinion, or is Spam.

Be Safe and Enjoy!

  1. You know the saying: there is only winter or construction on the roads. Could you forward the insurance policy by email to the management company?
