Once again, we not only slept soundly, but managed to sleep far later than we expected. Kathy did need that little bit more sleep, but with each passing day after springing forward, she finds it easier to adjust.
I mentioned yesterday, that our forecast was showing an All-Day Rain for today. The Rain didn’t start until 10:00, so we could only do indoor activities. Checking the Radar showed a massive system heading our way that would end around midnight, so I went about reading Blogs.
We enjoyed our Tomato Sandwiches for our lunch before returning to the Computers, where Kathy noticed the change on the Radar and had me check it out.
In the Three Hours since I’d first looked, there had been big changes. I’ve mentioned that Essex County was on a peninsula surrounded by water and many storms coming from the South split as they hit that water. Though we do get some precipitation, most goes around. By 4:00 the Rain had stopped and by 5:00 the Sun was was starting to break through the clouds.
We had left the Apartment at 4:30 to pick up a few supplies. First stop was Shoppers Drug Mart where I got more Nighttime Medication and Kathy some Make-Up. When I purchase our Vitamins they always give me a Limited Time Discount Card, that I seldom think to use, but today was the last day and we saved an extra Ten Dollars.
We then went to Dollarama to get some Juice and Iced Tea, that we seem to be going through quite a bit lately. That’s when we realized the time and that we were getting hungry.
We went to Arby’s and enjoyed one of their Fish Sandwiches. They are better than any of the other Fast Food’s, the only problem is they are here for a Limited Time Only every year. We were very satisfied when we left.
Back in the Apartment we watched as the Clouds totally disappeared just before the Sun set for the day. Our high temperature reached 57 F (14 C) today, but things are cooling down.
We ended our day watching a Romantic Comedy that we saw at the show years ago called, “Leap Year”. It made a lot of sense.

Krackers
What did the femur say to the patella?
“I kneed you.”
I love that the rain gives me my excuse to stay inside all day!
ReplyDeleteAre the fish sandwiches as good as they look on tv?
ReplyDeleteWe're getting some ray here today a couple days ago we had all the windows open.
Y'all take care.
14C/57F is pretty good for this time of year. I bet the grass starts growing already. It's great that the Shoppers Drug Mart is giving those discounts and seniors probably take advantage of them the most.
