I learned a valuable lesson in just the last couple of days. Instead of taking my Nighttime Micky just before going to bed, I take it nearly an Hour before. The most I lay in bed now before drifting off has been Five Minutes.
I wasn’t out of bed Ten Minutes this morning, when Kathy joined me. Since we were not going to be very active today, breakfast was simply a Muffin along with our Coffees that we brought to the Computers.
After checking The Weather Network to see our temperature was still below Freezing, it was time to check the Windsor Star for local news. Apparently, someone called in a Threat against the Mayor of our City and was promptly arrested within the hour since he called from his home.
Trying to clean up our Fridge, for lunch we shared an Acorn Squash along with a small slice of Cherry Pie for dessert.
The temperature finally warmed a bit, but with the moderate Wind we were having, those Jogging or Walking on the Ganatchio Trail were still wearing Coats, Gloves and Hats. With nothing pressing to take care of, we stayed in the comfort of the Apartment.
I’ve never been much of a cook but could always survive on my own. Since my Re-Retirement, I have tried to expand on my creative abilities, so we are not eating the same ole, same ole all the time. I was in the process of cooking supper when Kathy came to my rescue and coached me through the process. We worked together when the plating took place. Our meal consisted of Sauteed Asparagus, Sauteed Potato Slices and Grilled Bacon. Kathy topped it off with Iced Tea for our beverage along with Strawberries for dessert. We were well satisfied.
On the 6 o’clock Local News the only thing we learned that we had not read about earlier, was that we reached a high of 50 F (10 C). The Local Weather Guesser tries to give his forecast from the top of the Building, overlooking the City where a Sky Cam is set up for that purpose. Last night while he was in the middle of his forecast, he was joined by a pair of Canadian Geese that dropped in to give their personal opinion on the weather. Not often he gets Photo Bombed like that.
From other News we are still following is the Bridge/Cargo Ship Disaster.
Tomorrow we will be out and about.
Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment, unless it personally attacks someone for their opinion, or is Spam.

It’s about time.
