Needed Sleep, Cobalt and Extra Iron.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

With yesterday ending with me doing our laundry, when I returned to the Apartment I could barely move, and my Hernia screamed at me until the Extra Strength Tylenol finally took the edge off. Feeling that way, I didn’t even set the Alarm to go to the Gym.

Every time I rolled over during the night, I became more aware of the growing problem. Sleeping past my weekday time wasn’t a worry, but I was up before 7:30. As usual, I had barely sat in my chair when Kathy came out to join me.

Breakfast was an Egg Over Easy on a Toast. Just like yesterday we took our morning refreshments to the Computers. Besides reading Blogs I did a little research on my leg issue. It is definitely not what had been suggested. I’ll write a reminder to ask our Family Doctor when I see him in May.

For lunch we had Chicken Noodle Soup along with a Mandarin Orange and the Leftover Tuxedo Cake for dessert.

After lunch we both enjoyed an Epson Salts Foot Bath to easy the discomforts we take for granted. It was like a new beginning when we dried our feet off.

It was past 3:00 when we headed out to run a couple of errands. The first was to Princess Auto where they had Cobalt Step Drills on for “Half Price”. ( That just shows how much they mark up the actual value.) Anyone who drills Stainless Steel knows you have to use Cobalt, otherwise you will just destroy everything else. (These are for my Toolbox, not at work.) Kathy likes to peruse the Surplus section of the store while I minimized my steps.

It was already past 4:00 when we stopped at Wendy’s for supper. Using a Coupon I know how to keep our costs down and maximize our pleasure. Since I need to increase my Iron level for the next few days, I substituted Chili instead of French Fries. Don’t worry Kathy kept tossing most of hers on my wrapper.

We hit the Produce and Pastry sections at Zehr’s grocery store before heading for home. Of course, that was when we realized we had forgotten a few things at Dollarama, so we stopped at the location closer to our building, to remedy that issue.

We spent the rest of our evening reading more Blogs, but I seemed to be feeling slightly better due to the extra sleep I have gotten over the weekend. I’m going to try getting to bed earlier more often.

Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment, unless it personally attacks someone for their opinion, or is Spam.

Be Safe and Enjoy!

  2. Any way you can see your family doctor before May? Maybe in April? Well. OK. Stay well. Be easy on yourself, but I'm not sure you know that word.
