Needed Rest and Making Adjustments.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

Even though it looked like we were in for another Winter Storm last night, it wasn’t that bad. With the Sun filling the sky when we got up there was a lot of White reflecting the light, so we had a Muffin for breakfast and took our Coffees to the Computers.

Even at that early hour we were already teetering on the Freezing Mark. Looking out the Balcony Door there was water dripping from the Balconies above as the Sun started cleaning things up.

Since I needed to know some numbers, the first thing I did was to check my Medication Spreadsheet before anything else this morning. What I saw told me, we had to go shopping before I could accomplish what was necessary today.

I always appreciate having simpler meals when I am home on the weekends. Lunch today was Chicken Noodle Soup with a couple of Babybel Cheese, that were topped off with Yogurt Cups for dessert.

We were soon out the door headed to Shoppers Drug Mart. I had a list of Vitamins we were low on. While I was collecting what was needed, Kathy picked up a few Make-Up Items she needed. Luckily most of the Vitamins wereOn Sale” with a savings of Forty Percent which does not happen often.

We did swing by the nearby Dollarama to pick up a few items that were better priced there.

Back at the Apartment, once everything was logged onto the Spreadsheet, we had an early supper. We had the Leftover Stir-Fry in the form of Veggie Wraps, along with Chocolate Cake for dessert.

Things were drying up.

While Kathy got stuck cleaning up the Dishes, I started doing our Pill Doucettes. While we were Fulltiming and I was Retired, this chore was done every Forty-Five Days, but doing that in the middle of the week is not practical while I am working. Today I filled our Doucettes for Forty-Two Days (Six Weeks), which does not take much more time than if I was only doing it for One Week.

We were both surprised that the Golf Tournament did not pre-empt our 6 o’clock Local News. With another warm day heading our way the landscape should again be turning Green.

  1. Nice that you didn't get dumped on with snow like the TO area. Back home, we didn't either.

  2. It has been a very mild Winter compared to some we have had in the past.
