Now I Know Why and Stuck Again.

With having worked out at the Gym yesterday I knew going to bed that there would be no rushing around this morning so I could just relax. Along with another dose of Neo Citran for both Kathy and I it worked like a charm. It was 7:30 before I looked at the Clock this morning and I only recall waking once to roll over.

I managed to get things ready for a quick breakfast before starting to do my morning reading on the Computer. Kathy joined me shortly after 8:00 after only waking once through the night as well. We both were feeling better than yesterday but could still feel some Congestion hanging on so we had a Daytime Neo Citran as our morning hot drink.

Looking out the Balcony Door told us exactly how to dress when we headed the door out at 11:00. The Rain was coming down gently but it was still enough to cause large puddles throughout the parking lot so there was no sign of the Contractors. Going out the rear door and walking to our Car the sound of Jackhammers in the Underground Garage could be heard coming from the vents. At least they are progressing on the job.

If you recall a couple weeks ago I went to a Walk-In Medical Clinic in regards to the severe Pain in my Hip. Two Days later I had an Ultra Sound but was told to see my Family Doctor for the results. That’s where we were headed for this morning.

Kathy stayed in the Car while I went in the Office. Even though I was early I had barely sat in the waiting room before being led to an Examination Room. George has been my Family Doctor for Thirty-Six Years and has gotten me through some tough times. He had the results and it turns out to be as I suspected. I have a Two and a Half Inch Hernia in the Right Groin. It will have to be repaired before the Pain will stop. All my vital signs were excellent just that Pain. They’ll make the call to the Surgeon but in the meantime I’ll just have to grit my teeth and bear with it.

When I explained the Congestion problem we were having and how we were treating it with some success. George just said to continue doing what we were doing but if it got too bad to call. He said the Allergens were on the severe side of the scale this year.

Using a Coupon Kathy and I had lunch at the nearby Taco Bell. It was something different that we found quite tasty.

With another appointment for this afternoon we decided to run errands in between rather then going home. After getting redirected by a Construction Detour right past The Wholesale Club we stopped to pick up more Halls Cough Drops for our usual Cold and Allergy symptoms. It was those Cough Drops that helped us when we had the Crud but they weren’t strong enough for this Congestion.

Our next stop was to collect our Mail at Guardian Storage. There was plenty in that little box.

We didn’t want to be late so we headed to the Windsor Essex County Health Unit. We sat in the Car as our confirmation instructions were specific that we not arrive more then Fifteen Minutes before our appointment. Luckily we had worn our Raincoats because it was very wet outside. We were both processed, given our Booster Shots and monitored for Fifteen Minutes before heading back to the Car in less then a Half Hour.

Given our new Verification Slips we headed straight to Staples to have our New Proof of Vaccination Cards made. There were Three Employees working the Print Desk but there were so many people it took nearly an Hour before before we were served. It then took another Fifteen Minutes before we had our Laminated Wallet and Passport Sized Cards in hand.

It was nearly 5:00 so we stopped at Arby’s to have their Greek Gyros for supper.

With the increased Rain still falling I dropped Kathy at the Front Door before parking the Car. In the Apartment we were talking about my injury. Kathy thought that I had just done it while working for Paul but it wasn’t. It was back in 2019 when I had to stand on One Leg while controlling the Welding Machine with the other that I first felt this Pain but it was only a Twinge back then. With time the Tear has lengthened thus increasing the amount of Pain I experience and some of my Exercises aggravate the injury.

The 6 o’clock Local News reported on the upcoming Provincial Election again and the arguments the Leaders are making against one another.

The Weather Network showed we reached a high of 52 F (11 C) and with all the Rain we’ve had so far our Humidity was only100% and this is only Spring.
