Another Drive and Recycling Done Right.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

I managed to sleep past 7:00 this morning only to find Kathy already up and on her Computer again. Even though there really wasn’t a rush this morning we still could not spend the day reading. The Jackhammers started clanging away at 7:30. After having Cereal for breakfast like yesterday we took our morning drinks to the Computers. Today we would not be staying as long as we did on Sunday.

We were out the door by 9:30. Heading to the Car in the back of the parking lot we could feel a dampness in the air even though this was supposed to be a dry day. Inside the Car the Windshield confirmed just how much moisture there was.

Our destination this morning was Rivertown Dental in Amherstburg. When we had our teeth cleaned last month they found I was developing a Cavity plus I needed to talk to the Denturist. Since we arrived early I spoke with Adam first. The shape of people’s jaws change over time and since my plate is over Twenty Years Old it is getting harder to eat with it. Soon Sean was taking care of my Cavity. The first time he worked on my teeth he was a little nervous but soon became comfortable knowing that I don’t take Freezing for fillings.

It was past 11:30 when we left. Stopping at the local Wendy’s we were confronted with the place being filled with kids from the local High School having their lunch. We simply got back in the Car and headed for Windsor.

The way the Construction on the Expressway has been set up hardly slowed the traffic down.

We stopped at Guardian Storage to check for Mail before going to the nearby Wendy’s. Using a Coupon our meals were tasty, satisfying and much more reasonably priced. It also felt good to indulge our passion for People Watching as we ate.

Not wanting to listen to the Jackhammers the entire afternoon we drove to Walmart to walk around. Even though there were no new Tops that made Kathy’s interest today I found the Mushrooms and Vegetable Oil I’d forgotten to purchase the other day. We also forgot to bring in our Reusable Shopping Bags and since Walmart is no longer giving out Plastic Shopping Bags we simply purchased another Reusable Shopping Bag.

We were able to park the Car next to the Truck in the parking lot. In the Apartment after putting my purchases away I was surprised to read what was written on the New Bag. It was completely made from Recycled Plastic Shopping Bags and to think that for years the Recyclers would not except them.

For supper we had Greek Pasta Salad along with Pineapple/Yogurt for dessert. The Jackhammers stopped just before 6:00.

The 6 o’clock Local News reported on the upcoming Provincial Election along with the report of 41 Active Coronavirus Cases for the Windsor/Essex Region.

The Weather Network showed we reached a high of 55 F (13 C) this afternoon with West Winds.

I’d like to thank all those who extended Birthday Greetings in the Comments.
